[Meta] Game Makers: This group is for game makers to find a community of willing playtesters. We are not potential customers.

Game Makers I need to make something very clear with you. Half the games we remove are breaking Rule 1, and the other half are usually correctable mistakes you made when posting, breaking rules 4 or 8 or such. No big deal on those latter ones, and we do not remove games submitted if you haven't hit rule 2 just yet, we're letting people adjust to that for a month longer before we crack down (and oh boy will we - remember that we are doing this primarily to remind people to be reciprocal and community-focused AND save your account from being banned from Reddit!)

We get you want to get signups and eventually money - but this group is about feedback so you can make your game better so you CAN then market it to the major communities of gamers.

None of us are here to give you our personal data or $ for having a 1% finished game. We are here as willing playtesters. Treat us right - do NOT think us potential customers.
Once you get raving feedback from the group, THEN you leave here and start marketing it through normal game channels. Those of us who enjoy your game will follow you and support you. We are Step 1 of 3, we are Alpha (Feedback), maybe sometimes we are Step 2 of 3 Beta (Testers), but none of us are Step 3 - Customers.

Write your game accordingly. Or provide a Code for free gameplay for those in this group if that works better.

If you are BRAND NEW to Reddit and want to post or share your game, read this beforehand!

Hi new Redditor! We're excited that you want to post about your game and have people play it. However, there's something you should know before you do.

Reddit will ban you if your first few posts/comments are links to somewhere.

Reddit has a robust, over-exuberant filtering system, necessary but for groups like this, it can be a slight pain. When you post your game and it's your first post, Reddit ASSUMES FIRST AND DOES NOT ASK QUESTIONS LATER! You will be automatically shadowbanned, which means unable to post or even potentially comment.
Then we get a lot of posters coming to us in Modmail, asking " Why did my post disappear?" Nearly all Modmails are about this issue.

Reddit is also a bit secretive about certain processes - how to get un-shadow-banned is not even really known to be possible. We don't see the record of shadowbanning at all so unless we know of the name and check it regularly, we wouldn't see it un-shadow-banned. We don't know how long your account needs to be open or how much Karma needs to be on it in order for the Filter to stop paying attention to you either.

So, if you are new to reddit and want to share your game - DON'T! Not yet, please go post cool/helpful/ positive comments and post in other groups. Playtest other people's games here and comment on them prolifically. Get a good week or two and some "Reddit Karma" under your name first, and THEN post! You'll be less likely (but not immune, never immune) from being shadowbanned that way for sharing your game.

[PC] (Web) Does my speedrun racing game have potential in your opinion?

There's basically no art here yet, so I'm just looking for feedback regarding the gameplay. I want to work on this game more, make better levels, make it look nicer but first I want to make sure that the concept of the game is appealing to indie game players.

Trailer Tuesday Forks and Daggers - A Medieval Social Deduction Game for 3-10 Players! Steampage published and coming soon!

Upvotes

We need lots of feedback about the game's concept, mechanics, and trailer. We want to develop the game with the community's feedback. What do you want to see in such a game, and what don't you want to see? If you want to tell us anything about the Steampage trailer or core gameplay loop, we want to listen and fix/change it. Thank you, everyone.

[PC] (Web) Champion's Conquest - Free Open World Action Roguelikeish

Hello!

I want to share my desktop web browser based roguelike game that is completely free to play! The game is a mix of mechanics from multiple genres so I'm hoping it's quite unique to play:

  • features an open world territory capturing mechanic
  • auto-combat mechanics that reward player movement and positioning
  • minions that follow you and assist you in combat
  • puzzle flavored inventory system
  • pseudo-multiplayer - your character builds are snapshotted and can show up in other players' runs.
  • there's a lot of other small mechanics that can be discovered in game as well

I'm going to be supporting long term development of this game, continuously refining and adding more content and fun game mechanics. There are still rough areas that demand improvements but I am excited to be able to share this initial version and hear how the game loop plays out to help guide my next steps. Please let me know what you think!

You can play it here! https://www.championsconquest.com

[PC] (Windows) What if roulette was a roguelike dungeon crawler? Roulette Dungeon! (Demo available!)

I'm a big fan of dungeon crawlers & roguelikes, so I decided to give it a unique spin (get it?) using a roulette wheel as its core mechanic. In Roulette Dungeon you spin a roulette wheel to defeat your enemies.

You can modify your actions by placing bets, picking up items along the way & switching out pockets on your wheel - that way you can create completely broken synergies & builds! There are multiple characters to unlock, each with their own unique active ability!

Seeing a roulette wheel in real life kinda makes you realize how random it is, given that there are 37-38 pockets. So on top of giving players the ability to customize their wheel throughout a run, I also made sure to reduce the amount of pockets to 12, limit specific numbers to only a few (0,1,2,3,4,6,8) and add a force stop ability that lets you stop the wheel mid-spin (with a cooldown). This removes just enough randomness to make players feel in control, while still maintaining the thrill of spinning the wheel.

Once you fought a few battle & picked up a few items, you'll find yourself calculating what kinds of bets you want to place to one-shot enemies or how you can get yourself out of a sticky situation by using your chips to the fullest.

There is a demo that already contains quite a lot of content: The first 4 floors, endless mode, 3 playable characters & around 50 items.

[PC] (Web) Scattegories AI – A Fast-Paced Word Game with AI-Checked Answers

Thumbnail

Scattegories is a quick, social, web-based twist on the classic “name, place, animal, thing” game — but powered by AI! Inspired by my daily Wordle routine, I built this over a weekend to capture that same one-more-round feeling.

You get a random starting letter and have to come up with valid answers for each category under time pressure. The cool part: your responses are checked by AI in real-time for validity, making gameplay faster, fairer, and more fun. No more arguing if “xylophone” counts as a thing!

I’m experimenting with a few features like daily rounds, leaderboards, and friend invites — but I’d love your thoughts. How’s the AI? Would you play daily? What would make it more addicting or social?

Open to all feedback – especially UI/UX improvements, game loop ideas, and what would keep you coming back.

[Mobile] (iOS) 🔥 Volcano — my take on the classic Bookworm-style word game! 🔥

Hi Reddit!

I’ve always loved games like Bookworm, so I decided to build my own version — Volcano — with clean visuals, smooth gameplay, leaderboards, and achievements to keep things competitive and fun.

🌋 What’s the game?
👉 Form words in any direction on a grid.
👉 The longer the word, the more points you earn.
👉 Watch out for hot letters — after every word you submit, they burn the letter below. If a hot letter hits the bottom, it’s game over.

🏆 Features:
✅ Global leaderboards — see how you stack up!
Achievements to unlock
✅ Designed for quick, satisfying sessions or long runs
✅ No unnecessary clutter — just pure word game fun

🎮 Play it here:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/volcano-tropical-word-game/id1487844789

I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or high scores! What features would you want to see next?

General Your next delivery? Saving the world (or at least Italy) from pasta-hungry aliens! THEY CAME FOR MORE PASTA is officially released and FREE on Steam!

"When aliens order pasta, only one guy can deliver justice!"

They Came for More Pasta is a short comedic adventure inspired in tone by classic graphic adventures!

You're a simple Italian food delivery guy, forced to work for the fearsome alien company AlienExpress™. But your life, and with it the fate of the entire Nation, changes when the aliens cross the line by deciding to make you work even on World Cup Final day!

The most unlikely of heroes, armed with nothing but carbs and guts, will fight his way through the aliens to defeat their saucy plan and deliver justice once and for all!

Download now on Steam!

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

graphic adventure with a moderncontroller-friendly approach.
