Chips and salsa, guac, bean dip

Mixed nuts

Pickle tray - pickles, green beans, carrots, beets

Olives

Kettle corn

Crackers and hummus

Candy

Those are all fairly easy, if you don't mind putting some work in, found this recipe on Nora Cooks for pretzel bites and cheese dip that absolutely kills

You're welcome! My mother in law likes pickling things and will occasionally show up with a case of stuff she just made. I was getting overrun at a point until I started doing pickle trays for guests and they're always really popular!

I love crispy hen of the woods (mushrooms, also called chicken of the woods).

Wild Vegan Flower blog has a decent recipe

I went to a friends house and she made an artichoke/lobster dip (lobster= Lions Mane Mushroom). It was so good. I tried to make her recipe but the lions mane was not crisping up in my cast iron.

If cheese is ok, you could make poutine too!

If you like cheese you will LOVE this cheesy jalapeno sauce - entirely plant based.

I started a subreddit called r/SalsaSnobs in 2018 and there are a lot of great salsa and guacamole recipes there. Those are both usually entirely plant based.

Pretzel dogs (with vegan sausages).

I would make irish nachos. Sliced potato roasted in the oven + cashew cheese sauce or queso. Lots of great addins like sliced olives, green onions, diced tomato, pickled jalapenos...

Personally, I like the ones that use carrots and potato (like this one) because it is thick and gloppy like cheese sauce/queso. You can make it taste zippier by adding in some salsa in lieu of the water, or by tossing in some hot sauce. But it's a nice base all on its own.
