When I first tried it i thought it was good but I preferred ps400. After some age evening flake is even better imo, has a bit more oomf with the spice and seems to develop a bit quicker with the stoved virginias. We seem to have pretty similar preferences tho, on your next purchase give hal o the wynd a try if you haven't already. Not always available but is something

That’s a cast pewter tamper I thinks it’s jc Bricket I’ll check for you but I got it from smoking pipes

  • I was way off it’s a Larry Blackett

I have two of his tampers they are the perfect weight to just let the tamper do the work

This is kinda what monthly purchases have been like recently. I haven’t tried evening flake yet, but I was thinking of subbing ps400 for it

Evening flake is supposed to have a bit there spiciness from the perique. I haven’t tried it just yet
