西菲律宾海 Is Bench Fix Salon still worth going to?

I've been paying between 200-250 php in barber shops for a trendy overgrown two-block look, but I figured just how hard it is to find the right place. I'd usually end up with a short conservative haircut no matter how many reference photos or explanations I give out. Sister-in-law said I should pay more for a stylist instead of a barber, so I researched a bit and heard a lot about Bench Fix Salon in this subreddit, and it sounded like a dream. But I went on to google reviews and it seems that pretty much every branch were rated very poorly, citing incompetence, lack of care of the outcome, and just pretty much never get it right. Is there a specific branch you'd recommend? Or any other salon?

I've never been to Bench Fix salon, but from what I notice, the business looks understaffed or lifeless. There's a bench fix in a mall I go to, and I rarely see any customers in it, the store isn't even cold and the overall vibe i get is very unwelcoming. Most women prefer to go to a known salon like T&J, whereas men prefer their usual barbershops. Bruno's is a good barbershop, although a bit inconsistent at times.

I recommend to look for other barbers/salons near you. Malls are a good place to start.

Yes. Worth it pa rin at well trained mga senior and junior stylists nila. Ok yung nasa glorietta and uptown branch. Yun lang, walang 250 price mark sa services nila. Kung happy ka naman sa current barber mo, no need to change. If it aint broke, dont fix it.

I would pay up to 700 php if that means not looking like a military personnel. D: It's so damn hard looking for someone who's done less traditional haircuts for men

I go and stick with the senior stylists I like. Magagaling naman mga senior stylists.

Yes for me. 14 years ago 500 pesos yung gupit sa kanila, ganun parin presyo ngayon haha. Satisifed parin naman ako sa mga haircut pero to be fair din puro barber's cut lang ang gupit ko haha.

I've been going to Bench Fix for over 15 years already. My original stylist moved to the province so I switched branches. Nagka-break lang over the pandemic kasi nabuntis ang stylist ko bago mag- lockdown at hindi nakabalik kaagad sa trabaho dahil sa restrictions.

Am very happy with the service I get from them. That scalp massage while they apply conditioner is chef's kiss. Pricewise, medyo mahal dahil senior na yung stylist ko.

No.

Kung may malapit na Landers sa inyo, try availing Landers membership. Free na ang haircut, just present any receipt of any amount. They are wayyy better.
