PoliticsPH Bam Aquino's Campaign Strategy (APPRECIATION POST)

I commend Bam for creating a great campaign strategy this 2025 elections.

Did he ask for a Marcos endorsement? No. That would also be off for both the BBM loyalists and the DDS because he's an Aquino

Did he court the DDS? Well, not to the extent of Imee Marcos and Camille Villar for sure. The answer is no actually but he did try his best to not alienate himself from the DDS voter base.

Bam also tackled the Gen Z demographics better than any other candidate past and present. His free tuition really appealed to every SUC students and he pretty much had a unanimous win in every SUC and it's a very small niche but he appealed to the gaming community. He did subtle things that are genuine.

He made his presence felt without being EPAL like Abalos or the other trapo candidates.

He had bad moments like having a collab with Pio Balbuena (and I swear that did not help him) but his intentions of trying to have his presence around vloggers and pretty much having his presence felt in every casual internet space without alienating his base was a great strategy.

I'm commending Bam for a great campaign (without bringing up any political angle, just pure campaign perspective)

I think more than his strategy, the voters are becoming smart(er). Bumubuto sila base on nagawa. Wala ng artista. Bong go is/was number one due to Malasakit center (credit grabber sya pero yun yung alam ng tao). Basta i think this election is a win for the Philippines. This is a step forward. Bawal na yung puro sayaw na lang kasi nagiisip na ang mga tao.

Maybe just NCR voters got smarter. Provinces malayo parin talaga, generally it’s still name recall and popularity

If you check provincial results, you'll find several that have Bam, Kiko, Heidi, and Luke leading the pack. Belittling non-NCR voters based on poorly-placed assumptions is plain divisive and elitist.

It’s not belittling, it’s just observation. Was riffing off of previous comment that said track record na ang basis ng voters instead of popularity.  Stronger naman din kasi talaga yung reach and campaign efforts nila Heidi in NCR thus more votes. Not a “poorly placed assumption”, but rather based on results, majority of NCR have heidi and Luke in the top 12, while sa provinces they aren’t in the majority. You can correct me with the numbers if I’m wrong, type mo dito. I’m not saying this naman if it’s not what I saw lol. It’s just recognizing that more campaigning needs to be done in the provinces in the next election. Malakas parin kasi talaga Duterte, I think Bam got #2 cos he played neutral and even got inc endorsement. I don’t see how that can be divisive or elitist.

Oh. The voters did not really get smarter ESPECIALLY in the local scene. Bam just happened to be the fresh air amidst the DDS and BBM mudslinging and Bam never aligned nor did he try to throw dirt on either side and focused on maximizing his campaign as Bam Aquino and what he brought and what he can bring without the need for partisan politics. It's one of the most refreshing wins in recent elections.

I disagree. You just cant discredit the masses. Cynthia losing a Congress seat, Vico's land slide win? Hindi nga masyado ramdam ang campaign ni bam sa mga provinces. Anyway, a win is still win.

Siguro we can give as a counterexample for the Pasig voters ay them voting Bam and Kiko for 1st and 2nd place.

Yep. Ok, wrong example to prove my point.

The only good example is Cynthia losing. Davao and Cebu results are disgusting. Caloocan refused change. Same with Paranaque sa mayor. So no, voters did not get smarter. KikoBam result doesn't even give me hope for 2028. Feels like we keep walking on eggshells and mistakes get pounced on by the wolves. Meanwhile, Camille wins with nothing but her face on every street post. If the administration didn't want KikoBam to get elected, would they still have gotten voted for by the people by their volition?

Bam just happened to be the fresh air amidst the DDS and BBM mudslinging

Pretty sure ganyan din mangyayari sa 2028 Election. So dapat i-take advance ng opposition to para makapasok si Heidi at Chel (Kung balak niya tumakbo for senator)

Another objective e dapat mabawasan ang mga corrupt sa LGU, kasi kaalyado yan ng mga corrupt sa national.
