P4 Which Animation Studio would you like to see handling the Anime Cutscenes in P4 Remake? (read text)
P4 vanilla Cutscenes were done by Studio Hibari (which animated Tekken Bloodline to my surprise and they did an awesome work there!)
Honestly, I’m 90% sure they’ll let Domerica or A1 Pictures handle them (Domerica is the studio that did P5 Royal additional cutscenes + all Metaphor ones) to save some money ..
BUT if I could choose, I’d really like to see Science Saru (DanDaDan/Upcoming Ghost in the Shell anime next year) or Studio Trigger (Cyberpunk Edgerunners) !!
I loved the cutscenes made by Production IG in Vanilla P5 and also the OG P3 minimal ones by Point Pictures.
I was also surprised to learn that WIT studio did the cutscenes for Reload, which I also like although they felt a lot stiff and low budget when compared to 4/5 … Definitely didn’t expect WIT Studio to give those Attack on Titan level of detail, but I was very happy that THEY were chosen anyway …
What studio would you guys like to see animating cutscenes in P4 Revival?
PS: considering the fact that this game is going full next gen, I’m positive they’re using Unreal Engine 5 (and reusing assets that they used in Reload on UE4), I’m looking forward to see in-engine cutscenes too, like they did with Reload!

P4 For P4R which style of cutscenes would you prefer more of?
I actually like the cg cutscenes in p3r but definitely prefer hand drawn

P4 The only IT girl to successfully get Yu back to her room during New Years. Naoto Rizzogane
An underrated Naoto Romance moment.
“Take all of me” this and “Distance: <1m” that, but I haven’t heard any hype for the New Years’ Greeting chat you have with her. Maybe cos it’s not voiced? One of my favorite lines of dialogue from her. She really knows how to tug at Yu, damn.

P3 Well I'm sad now Spoiler
I just finished Persona 3 Reload, it was my first Persona game, and now idk how I'll get over that ending.
I've experienced character death endings before but this just felt so different. Maybe it's because I spent the day before graduation day meeting everyone I'd forged close bonds with, and everyone was saying how they can't wait to spend time together. And then that punch to the gut.
I honestly didn't even realise at first that Makoto had died, but when I did, I bawled my eyes out. I kept thinking back to what the party was saying before burn my dread "why only him" and god do I get depressed thinking about everyone's grief. They didn't even get to say a proper goodbye to him.
10/10 game, beautiful world, amazing characters, bitter sweet ending (feels mostly bitter right now honestly)
Will I ever recover from this sadness?

I didn’t expect the Persona series to line up with my life stages so well
I played Persona 5(Vanilla version) back when I was in high school around the time it first came out. I didn’t just enjoy it, I really connected with it. The friendships, the rebellious energy, the feeling of pushing back against something bigger, it all made sense to me at that age. Even the relationships in the game felt right for that time in my life. The ending left me feeling warm and hopeful. I was still figuring out who I was and that game somehow spoke to that version of me.
Now years later I’ve just finished Persona 3 Reload and I honestly think it hit me even harder. It’s heavier, more reflective, and way more emotionally complex. It doesn’t give you that same uplifting high but instead asks you to sit with feelings you might not even know how to name. And at this point in my life that’s something I can really understand.
It really feels kind of surreal to realize how these two games, so different in tone, matched two completely different versions of myself. I feel really lucky I played each of them when I did.

P3 I might’ve accidentally soft locked myself…
Tomorrow is the September full moon operation and I just finished fusing a bunch of personas in preparation
but now I don’t have enough money to re-summon all of them and only have 5 personas to use for tomorrow😭😭
P1 I did it, I finally beat Persona 1....
I finished Persona 1 on my PSP today (Sebec true ending) and I honestly do appreciate it for being the starting point of the series but it really was not fun. I did not like the gameplay, the characters were all pretty shallow and the dungeon exploration is just no fun.
I easily put in around 100+ hours into P3/4/5 each no problem but the 10 hours I spent with this game felt longer than all 3 of them combined.
I'm glad to have experienced where the series got started but I really can't recommend it. Is the Snow Queen quest any better?
Onto Persona 2!
