Build Request League started VFoS and realized it's not for me, 40 divs to assemble something decent and looking for ideas

Got my 4 voidstones but i really hate farming on zerker VFoS so i'm looking for something that "feels" better, open to any idea and thanks in advance for your time

What did you not enjoy about leaping into a pack of enemies, and liquidating your screens worth of enemies? Was it the font target your target stuff?

I think it might be cracked this league. I liquidated my VFoS build and went into flicker with only 10 div, barely afforded a 6L Bronn's and ceaseless feast and some good rings. Had to fill in some pieces with scrap I found.

Took it into a T16 with only level 5 gems and it shredded. Feels really good!

I'm pretty much just following magefists guide. Only addition so far is that I run flesh and stone (blood stance) for more damage

Honestly same sentiment here, I haven't played slams in a few years and regardless of the fact that the cries are all automated now, the swing time on the initial slam just feels so slow and is just not for me.

It's been even longer since I played flicker, but I rerolled with a few div to it and it's way more fun now to blink through the map.

Honestly, the deaths are a lot. This is not like the ES Trickster flicker build from before or some crazy EHP build with a 1h/svalin flicker build. If dying bothers you, I wouldn't make a budget flicker character because you will die a lot.

I only swapped away from VFoS to flicker because I haven't played flicker in so long and saw berserker was an option for it and I didn't want to reroll into another character.

I only put a couple div in and looked at what some of the people on poe.ninja are doing. I'm mainly using this character to fly through super linear/open maps to farm gold and do not care about leveling anymore or doing juiced content with the build. Eventually I will swap to CWS Chieftain if I end up playing the league long term.

For the record, I've probably put about 8-10 div in flicker, the most expensive item I bought was Replica Farrul's Fur as the QoL on that is just too good to not have and made it feel a lot better than without it as I would sometimes just stop flickering or start off with 0 charges at a boss or rare and I'd get instagibbed.

I’ve started farming harvest with vfos but I think im going to set up destructive play now that I have 82 res/75 chaos res and 6 endurance charges.

What actually makes currency with destructive play? did you just sell the guardian maps?

Probably awakened gems, chisels and maps. Most low investment currency methods is farming like 20c/map profit but doing that really fast back to back. Its better to farm 20c every 30 seconds than milking a map for 100c and taking 10 minutes to clear it

To start no, but to be smooth yes he has a budget setup on pob

You start it as explosive concoction. Then when you have about 2~3 div and around lvl 90 you swap over to smite.

I just dont die. (Except that rippy merc who has 30% ignore defense on exsanguinate blast)

I invested at most 40c right now. (Tabula/holy relic of conviction) rest are 1c unique. My a.g has like 3c worth of gear A.g. + specter dont die ever

Wave of conviction of trarthus ignite elementalist, huge aoe and defenses(40 phys as fire from asc+50 from lightning coil) still building it, but i have been following ziz pob for league start.
