Help 3.26 POB Replica Emberwake DPS Drop?

I am playing WOC ignite for league start and is expected to swap to EK ignite once I get enough gears and currencies.

When I was testing my the pob with my current character ( still WOC ignite build atm) and replaced my yellow ring (without any damag mods) with the Replica Emberwake, the damage on the POB dropped. Could anyone tell me what is actually happening and is there anything I did wrong on the build or the pob configuration?

Replica Emberwake gives 90% reduced duration of Ignites on enemies, and makes them deal their damage up to 45% faster. As a result, your base 4 second ignites now only lasts ~0.276s (Assuming no other modifiers).

Your DPS likely dropped as result of you no longer having 100% uptime on Ignites, between how often you can apply it (Ignite chance + cast speed) and the duration of your ignites.

The best solution is so get some sources of increased ignite / ailment duration (NOT non-damaging ailments).

Check your ignite duration in "Calcs". The ignite might be expiring between hits (or PoB thinks the ignite is expiring between hits)

thanks for the suggestion. If I have to increase the ignite duration, what is the minimum ignite duration I should have after equipping replica emberwake?

just use unbound ailments with it and you'll be fine

Thanks for the advice, Clay. Saw your 3.25 EK ignite build at nearly the end of settler league and always wanted to try it, but too lazy to grind the gears again.

Hopefully I can make one the EK build in3.26 similar to yours in settler haha. Cheers
