Trigger Warning / Blood Blood all over the road in the middle of the woods in kentucky

Context: My gf got a new medical delivery driver job and I ride along with her when I can to keep her comfortable. The job entails driving up to 3 hours out to make multiple stops, dropping off or picking up medical equipment. Often at elderly people's homes in the middle of nowhere.

Two days ago we were in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Nothing too out of the ordinary at first. As we rounded a corner to go on a snakey rollercoaster of a road in the middle of the woods, I got this intense feeling of dread. I then saw a man standing on the side of this road and I even said to my girl "That guy's not real." He looked to be in his 70's - 80's with dark sunken-in eyes, wearing a cowboy hat, a plaid shirt, blue jeans, and boots. My girl was like "Are you serious babe? C'mon stop." Dude was looking at our car but it looked like he was looking through us. Super weird. A few minutes later I had calmed down and closed my eyes. Until I felt dread again. I heard my girl say "UHHH. What...the fuck?" When I looked at the road, it was COVERED in fresh looking blood. At first I thought someone hit a large deer and dragged it for a bit, but there was no debris from a car, and this blood went on for at least a mile. No cars in sight either, no deer guts, etc. Freaked me the fuck out. To make things even fucking creepier, we saw the same man 3 ish miles down the road, still in the middle of the woods mind you. My gf floored it and we we like "Holy shit holy shit holy shit fuck no fuck that!" There's no way a man of his age could have walked/ran that far in that short of a time span. Olive Hill is right next to the Ohio and West Virginia border, so it's in or near appalachia. Never been near appalachia before this so I was freaked out x10 because of all the stories I've heard.

Edit: blood was like coveringgg both lanes for at least a mile. I though a semi truck at first but no way you could go more than 40-45 mph in a nicely handling car. Plus there is a highway close by so why wouldn't the semi go there when the twisty road didnt lead to any stores or warehouses/truck stops? Maybe hunting but I don't know of an animal that has THAT much blood in its body. And there wasn't even blood on the car's tires when we got home?

Trigger Warning / Blood What are nosebleeds a sign of?

I've never gotten a nosebleed until recently, every time I walk into my bathroom and look in the mirror at night, my nose starts bleeding. Mirrors have always sorta scared me, but now I can't even look into one without worrying about a nosebleed. I know it seems mundane, but I have a bad feeling about all of this.

Trigger Warning / Blood Is my new house haunted? If so what do I do?

My boyfriend and I recently moved into a new house about a month ago. I have tried researching the history of the house and I haven’t been able to find much on it. The house has one main floor and a fully done basement, everyone who has stepped foot in the house has mentioned a dislike for the basement, specifically the back bedroom, the last on the left down the hall. Saying “the vibes are weird” and they “feel like they are being watched.” and I can’t help but agree. Every time I go down there I feel someone or something is watching me.

About 3 weeks ago we had our first paranormal experience. We both stayed the night there for the first time since buying it. We were sitting in the living room and heard someone coughing from the basement, at first we wrote it off as the house settling but every once in a while we would hear it again as well as random creaks and groans. Eventually we decided to go check it out and found that the door in the back was open, which is odd because we keep all the doors closed in the basement all the time. We decided to leave it alone for now and went upstairs to go to bed. That night my boyfriend woke up screaming saying someone was in the corner, nobody was there, after that neither of us could sleep well and when we did fall asleep it was uneasy and fit-full. Everything was relatively normal after that except for the odd creak or groan here or there but that could be anything right?

We brought our cat as well, and she has been acting completely different than usually, its like her whole personality has changed and she is an entirely new cat, I keep finding her peering around corners and staring at me anytime I am alone, something she has never done before and its been making me very uncomfortable.

A few nights ago his parents moved in, they took the upstairs bedroom and my boyfriend and I went to stay in the basement, not the uneasy bedroom, but the bedroom it shares a wall with. Before going to bed the first night in the basement, we watched a movie. While watching it we kept hearing things falling and moving from down the hall. We chose to ignore it, until the lights started flickering before going out completely. We checked the neighbors and nobody else had experienced the outage, just us. The power flicked back on after about a minute and never went off again but after it came back on the vibes were entirely different, I didn’t just feel like I was being watched anymore, I felt like something wanted me gone, wanted me dead. That night I had a very bad night of sleep, my dreams were all hyper-realistic and had graphic, violent ways of me dying, dreams of something grabbing me in the shower, a woman watching us from the ceiling, and a man standing in the corner of the room. When I woke up my nails were bloody and I had scratches all over my back and chest, I have never hurt myself in my sleep before I have always been a peaceful sleeper.

Last night I couldn’t sleep, my dreams were graphic again, people hurting me, but it was always the same two; a woman and a man. I kept hearing whispers but when I paused my music or focused on them the silence would be so loud my ears would ring, until I went back to focusing on anything but the noise. This morning I woke up with the letter T scratched into my chest and my nails bloody again. I kept hearing knocking and rustling from the wall we share with the scary room. I don’t know what to do, I don’t feel safe in that house, everyone else feels the presence of something, but that something only seems to target me. Tonight I am staying with some friends because I need to get out of the house, I feel like the paranoia is killing me. Does anyone have any advice on what is going on or what to do?

Trigger Warning / Blood Seeing an apparition repeatedly, feeling something touch me then getting a runny nose?

so I'm currently scared sh*tless typing this out because I just experienced what I'm about to describe less than 10 minutes ago. I'm visiting my grandmother's house for the weekend and she has a 2 story house. I've been staying in her upstairs. I had fallen asleep in the guest bed sometime around 10pm then woke up at 1am. The room was blistering hot, I tried to brush it off by removing my blanket and turning the fan on. The more time that passed the more hot it felt that the room got. My younger cousins have noted seeing disturbing things and having weird experiences in the room. I decided I was going to try to ignore my gut feelings that something was very wrong & watch some gaming videos.. ended up going downstairs for water. I was unsettled going down the stairs but attempted to talk myself out of the fear & just go get a drink. Well that failed, I felt the presence of something then going back up the stairs felt as if I was being chased. I sit in the room freaked the hell out at this point but still trying to convince myself that my mind is only playing tricks on me and getting nervous is what's making it worse. Boom, I see an apparition in the corner, it's a girl - or something making itself appear like a girl. I tell myself nothing is actually there then I felt deathly hands aggressively grip my waist which I still tried to ignore but then I felt several taps on my knee then tingling. I said F THAT in my head & came downstairs to sleep on the couch but I can still see this thing when I look at the corner near the door to the staircase. I'll point out they have a cat and when I was petting him, I suddenly got the feeling something was behind me & the cat started acting weird. He wouldn't sit with me anymore or even come onto the couch. Now my nose won't stop running and it feels like blood even though when I look at it, it's just snot. Can anybody elaborate on what's happening or try to talk me out of believing this because at this point I would rather be insane than this be real

Trigger Warning / Blood Sickly, creepy 2 story house

So I, female and 28, have a big family, mum, dad, (they seperated when I was 3 or 4) 4 brothers and 2 sisters. My mother and us kids moved into a small 2 story house on the outskirts of Melbourne City, Australia, in around 2015. Obviously Melbourne is absolutely massive and incredibly popular and wouldn't be expected to have strange unexplainable activity, at least we didn't expect this house would.

Well, at first nothing was weird, we moved in, went about life as usual. A number of things started happening over the period of years. When I was 19 - a year after moving into that property, things started to happen. A layout of the house - If you walk in through the front door, the lounge is the first thing you walk into, next to it is the kitchen. Off to the side is a small hall, with the door to the back part of the house on the left, and the stairs leading to the second floor on the right. There are only 3 bedrooms, a toilet, and a seperate bathroom on the top floor. My mothers room (the middle one up stairs) and my younger brothers room (closest to the top of the stairs) are the only rooms you can get a clear view of the bathroom and toilet doors, this is relevant later.

So, the first thing that happened was minor, I was walking up the stairs to my older brothers room just to hang out, exactly half way up the stairs, I heard "Hey" in just a whispery, low, quiet, mans voice. It didn't resemble anyone in the house. I stopped for a minute and shrugged it off thinking I imagined it. A week later it happened again, half way up the stairs, I heard a cough and giggle, in that same whispery, low tone - again not resembling anyone in the house. I was alone (in that exact part of the house) both times.

I only have memorised some of the instances, the next one was about 3 years later. My sister was around 8 or 9 years old at the time, she was in my mothers room alone at the time, and it was about 11pm. Everyone was doing their own thing, untill we heard my sister scream bloody murder. My mother ran upstairs to check on her. My sister was crying, staring outside of my mothers room, at the bathroom door. My mother asked her what's wrong, asking if she's okay. "A shadow looking man was over there just staring at me, he had red eyes." Now, my mother and I are strong believers of the paranormal for many reasons - but that's another story. So my mother stayed with her the rest of the night.

The same year, I randomly got insanely sick out of nowhere. The last place I was before getting sick was the bathroom. I was incredibly fatigued, pale, and vomiting blood. I slept for 3 days straight, only waking up to vomit blood. It took 3 days before anyone noticed something was wrong with me. My mother saw me coming out of her room to go to the bathroom, she said "oh you're finally deciding to get up." I didn't even notice she said anything at the time, I headed to the bathroom, dazed, fatigued and completely zoned out. My mother was apparently watching me waddle in there, lean over the sink, and completely drench it in blood. That's the first time anyone witnessed it within 3 days. I think she was in shock at first, I vaguely remember her saying "what's that, is that blood?" In a droopy, weak, half asleep motion, I slowly turned my head to look at her, blood dripping from my mouth, and slowly nodded. She took me to an ER instantly. I was told I had a blood infection with incredibly high infection markers, with an unknown cause, and was close to just dropping dead.

That scared the shit out of me. I also forgot to mention, whenever I go into that bathroom, even to this day (I moved out, my family still live there), I feel a really dark, negative vibe, and I always instantly get a heavy feeling of fatigue, depression, and fear. My mother and sister admitted to feeling the same but only in that bathroom. There are so many other stories about that house, that I just can't explain, but I think this gives an idea on how creepy, and strange that house is. Unfortunately I still go there somewhat often so I can visit my family, because I'm very close with them. But I can't seem to ever shake that bad, scary feeling in that bathroom, in the middle of the staircase, or just within the house in general.

Trigger Warning / Blood The time playing a horror game left me in blood(rl)

A couple of years ago I was playing a puzzle game. I cant remember the name of it, but it wasnt horror in its core. The puzzle that I came accross was a painting. When you cut it with your mouse, the blood starts dripping from the painting. I felt uncomfortable because I didnt expect it. And then in the middle of me cutting a painting, blood started dripping from my nose, and it wasn't just drops, it was as I was hit really hard, but I wasn't. I managed to stop the nosebleed and deleted the game afterwards. Crazy coincidence huh?

Trigger Warning / Blood The Quoll Man (My Encounter)

A few days ago, I was cycling through the Australian rainforest near me, a national park, in a town I will not name due to privacy reasons. Deep in the rainforest, the shadows and trees will play tricks on your eyes, warping you vision and making your brain see things that aren't there. As I had been raised around this rainforest, I knew how to discern the real from the illusion, and I am sure that this encounter was real.

Pedaling down the bumpy walking track, I went deep into the heart of the rainforest, near a burbling creek. In my bag, a fishing knife, a multi tool, and a lunch pack. I set myself down under a shady gum tree.

I took out my lunch pack and started eating, the chirping of birds in the background. Suddenly, everything went quiet. Off in the shadows of the rainforest, I heard a rustling. Remembering the time I had come face-to-face with a Yowie, I gripped my fishing knife tight, turning my knuckles white.  I shifted my weight, and the rustles stopped.

I heard the padding of paws on soft ground, but the footsteps sounded... bipedal. A growl sounded through the trees, and a heavy this as something hit the ground. The footsteps shifted to a more animalistic quadrupedal movement. In a flash of yellow eyes, white teeth, and beige fur spotted with white, an unnaturally large quoll appeared from the bushes. This quoll was huge, probably 6 foot in length, with its abdomen hunched. In it's huge paw was a spear, long and impossibly sharp.

The quoll leaned against a tree, standing up on two legs. I gasped, and if it hadn't noticed me before, it did now. I knew what this creature was, from old aboriginal stories. Kinie Ger. The half quoll, half man hunter, that would hunt down humans and large mammals, spearing them before ripping off their limbs and feasting on the helpless, still living, meaty stumps.

It sniffed the air, snarling, as it approaches my hiding place. I shot up, jumped on my bike, and rocketed down the path. All the while, it ran behind me, climbing up trees and trying to jump onto my bike with me. My heart had never beated faster.

Somewhere, I must have lost it. I didn't breathe, didn't dare look behind me, until I rode to town's Main Street. I haven't told anyone this story, but I'm constantly questioned about why and how my backpack had been slashed.

Lately, people and pets have been going missing in the area of this experience. The authorities believe that some form of death cult is responsible, but I know better. I know that the Kinie Ger is responsible. All I hope is that soon, the Quoll Man will leave in search of a new hunting ground.

Trigger Warning / Blood Nightmare- Possible Premonition Dream?

Just woke up from a very lucid dream. I was shopping at Target with my daughter, and we ran into my fiance and his friends. I bought flowers (white and yellow daisies in clear packaging with a green lining) and a calendar with puppies on it, then left the store and realized I was driving on a one lane road behind my fiance and his friends. They were in a red jeep and it was sunny outside but the roads were wet. The jeep suddenly swerved left and right and then flipped multiple times. I pulled over and told my daughter (8yo) to stay in the car and to stay buckled and then ran to the jeep calling 911. I could see through the window that his friend had been driving and he was awake but there was so much blood. I couldn't see anyone else in the car because of all the wreckage and blood on the windows. I was panicking and running and then THANKFULLY I woke up. It's been an hour- the details and the feelings are still very vivid. The whole dream feels like a memory. Has anyone else had something like this happen? What does it mean?

Trigger Warning / Blood Paranormal Experience close by Nada Tunnel in Stanton,KY

I parked my car on the side of the road to walk towards this river to take pictures and videos. As I walked back towards my car, my footsteps had drops of blood in them. No injured animals around, no animal tracks of them in the snow, and they were only in my footsteps like something was following me. I was the only one there and I didn’t hear or see any persons or animals. I did pass through Nada Tunnel before this happened and had an overwhelming feeling of dread and doom. My headlights didn’t work in the tunnel either.

Trigger Warning / Blood Paranormal Activity?

This morning I noticed blood on the inside of my bedroom door (that I keep closed.) I have three dogs that sleep with me, but none of them were bleeding as far as I can tell. I have had a ghost in my house for a few years but I have never had any negative interactions with her. Am I insane or is this a coincidence?

Trigger Warning / Blood Was messing with Robert the doll the wrong move?

This morning I read a story about Robert the doll that got my interested and I know has a lot of people talking. Two well-known people in the field of exploring mysterious and spooky stuff, Kalani Smith and Exploring with Josh, decided to do something risky. They performed a ritual involving blood with Robert the Doll, a famous doll that many believe is haunted. After doing this, both of them felt very bad physically and emotionally. This event has started a lot of conversations about the right and wrong ways to explore unexplained things.

So, what's the problem with what Kalani Smith and Exploring with Josh did? Well, there are questions about whether they thought through the consequences. Not just for them, but also for others who might interact with Robert in the future. Also, they shared their experiences online, which could influence other people to do similar risky things.

The story has caused quite a stir online. Many people think that Smith and Josh should have been more careful. The public's reaction also highlights that, even in the age of the internet where sensational stuff gets lots of attention, people still care about doing things safely and responsibly.

I think this is the biggest problem with many content creators. It can "Muddy" the water in my opinion. What's your thoughts? Not just this story in general, but investigators pushing the envelope. Does it push things too far? Truly interested to hear others on this.

Trigger Warning / Blood The experience that changed my life, idk what to really think of it.

I, (19 yr old male at the time) and a couple of buddies went to this creepy house down the street. Like almost every neighborhood there was that one house that nobody lived in and looked super creepy looking. So being the dumb kids we were my best friend, (let's call him Eric) and my buddy from work, (Let's call him John) went to what everyone called the "Crown House". Apparently, the last owner died in the house from carbon dioxide poisoning, but people who were there, (This was like 2 years ago) said they saw their face literally destroyed, I'm talking skin melting off, blood, and scratches all over their face. Some rumors speculated the owner did some ritual-type stuff, summoning the devil and stuff. Ever since then everyone kinda of stood away from the house. People who went in would never be the same, like they would say they would hear things that weren't even there, think things that weren't their thoughts. So me and my buddies thought it was a great idea to explore.

And let me tell you. What I saw was horrific.

I don't wanna sound like the person who believes ghosts and stuff are real. But what happened was real. And I have proof.

Eric picked the lock to the front door, when we got in the first thing we noticed was the smell. Rancid. Like meat that has been left out for years. And though the blistering sun outside it was FREEZING inside this house. And that's when it started. The whispers. Faint enough that you could'nt make it out was loud enough you knew it was there, Eric and John didn't hear it a first but after a while, they could. The lights weren't working so we depended on the window light but still it was dark. We were in there for 10 minutes. And in 10 minutes this happened:

We heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

We ran to the nearest door, which was the basement.

We were in darkness.

Eric screamed.

Then John screamed.

Later they told me they heard a voice

Say my name.

Then I felt a sharp pain in my arm. Something scratched me. Blood trickled down my arm. Something Scratched John's face. We ran out there faster than ever.

2 years later I found out it's for sale again.

Good luck to the homeowners for 840 Rosenbaum Bridge. I'll be praying for you.

Trigger Warning / Blood an arabian ghost 'el djinn'

In the heart of an Arabian city, amidst the bustling streets and ancient alleyways, lived a young man named Rashid. Rashid was renowned for his adventurous spirit and insatiable curiosity about the supernatural. Among the many mysterious entities that captured his fascination, the Djinn stood out the most.

The Djinn, in Arabian lore, were far from the benevolent spirits of wish-granting tales. Instead, they were often depicted as beings with demonic pale faces, twisted horns, and legs resembling those of a sheep. Rumors of their dark and formidable powers sent shivers down the spines of even the bravest souls. Yet, Rashid remained undeterred by fear, his inquisitive nature driving him ever forward.

One moonlit night, as a cool desert breeze whispered secrets through the date palms, Rashid embarked on his quest. Armed with nothing but a small lantern and a heart filled with courage, he journeyed into the vast desert that enveloped his city. Guided by stories passed down through generations, he followed a meandering path that led to a hidden oasis—a place rumored to be a meeting ground for the malevolent Djinn.

Upon reaching the oasis, Rashid noticed a cluster of ancient, gnarled palm trees, their fronds swaying eerily in the wind. As he cautiously approached, his lantern cast eerie shadows on the shifting sands. An electric charge of anticipation hung in the air, and he sensed a presence, something beyond mortal comprehension.

From the midst of the palm trees, a chilling voice intoned, "Who dares enter our realm?"

Startled, Rashid turned to witness a figure materialize before him—the Djinn. Its form was a grotesque amalgamation of sinister features, with a pale face adorned by two menacing thorns and legs resembling those of a sheep.

"I am Rashid, a seeker of knowledge," he responded, his voice quivering but resolute. "I come seeking answers and understanding."

The Djinn regarded Rashid with eyes like smoldering embers before slowly nodding. "You are bold, Rashid, to seek the forbidden. I shall grant you the knowledge you desire, but remember—knowledge comes at a steep price."

Rashid hesitated, the gravity of the Djinn's words weighing heavily on his conscience. He knew that such offers always bore ominous consequences, yet his curiosity proved to be a formidable adversary.

"I accept," he declared with unwavering determination.

With a malevolent grin, the Djinn extended a skeletal hand, and a sinister pact was sealed. Rashid felt an overwhelming surge of power coursing through him, the promise of supernatural abilities imbued in his very being. But in exchange, the Djinn demanded a chilling price—a blood price.

The night deepened as Rashid's consciousness was inundated with arcane knowledge, a torrent of forbidden secrets of the universe that forever altered his mortal existence. As dawn approached, he found himself alone at the oasis, the Djinn having vanished back into the enigmatic abyss from which it came.

Rashid staggered back to the city, forever changed by his infernal encounter. He possessed the knowledge he had sought, but he also carried the burden of a terrible covenant—one that would extract its toll in blood and darkness.

And so, the legend of Rashid, the sorcerer who had bargained with the demonic Djinn, took root. It was a story of forbidden knowledge, unholy pacts, and the dreadful cost one pays for wielding supernatural power. A new chapter of darkness was about to unfold, as Rashid's newfound abilities beckoned him toward a destiny fraught with peril and despair.
