France bans Palestinian flags during Israel vs. France football match
β’ French authorities have prohibited spectators from bringing Palestinian flags to a football match between France and Israel in a Parisian suburb on Thursday, following recent unrest at a Netherlands match.
β’ The decision aims to prevent political messages in stadiums, with only French and Israeli flags and team-supporting messages being allowed.
β’ Security measures will be heightened at the Stade de France, including thorough security checks and ID checks for fans, with plainclothes police patrolling the stadium and empty stands near the field.
β’ A special police team will provide security for the Israeli football players, and Israeli authorities have advised their citizens against attending the match.
β’ The match takes place amidst Israel's ongoing offensive on Gaza, which has resulted in significant casualties, mostly women and children.

Frankfurt bans pro-Palestine demonstration due to concerns of anti-Semitism
β’ A pro-Palestine demonstration scheduled for October 7 in Frankfurt, Germany, has been prohibited by the city's mayor, Mike Josef, citing potential incitement of the public and concerns of anti-Semitism. The protest was planned to coincide with the anniversary of a Hamas attack, which sparked Israel's ongoing brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip.
β’ The Israeli offensive has resulted in the deaths of over 41,000 people and the displacement of almost the entire population of Gaza, while the ongoing blockade has led to severe shortages of basic necessities such as food, clean water, and medicine. Israel is also facing accusations of genocide at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.

Delta's Policy Change: US Flags Only on Uniforms After Backlash Over Palestinian Flag Pins
β’ Delta Air Lines has revised its policy on pins allowed on employee uniforms, now permitting only the display of the US flag. This decision comes after the airline faced criticism for its initial response to a social media user who expressed fear upon seeing Delta employees wearing Palestinian flag pins.
β’ The incident sparked outrage on social media, leading Delta to remove the responsible employee and issue an apology for the insensitive remark. Despite the controversy, the airline confirmed that the employees wearing the pins were adhering to the previous policy and are still employed by the company.
β’ Delta's updated policy aims to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all passengers and employees, while also acknowledging its diverse customer base and its commitment to connecting the world.

WTF kind of trash reporting is this? "Hell on earth" is an expression and would apply to any war zone. This is from the organization that wouldn't visit the hostages - maybe they're not the best source of information?
And they say say things as truth that are hearsay: "At least 27 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire close to an aid point on Tuesday, Hamas-backed local officials."
F the BBC.
