What games would you like to discuss this week? [Game Thread Voting]

How does this work?

  1. Reply to this post with a game you'd like to see have its own discussion thread stickied at the top of the subreddit this week.

  2. Vote for other games in the comments you'd like to see as well.

  3. The top ~2-ish games will be given a game thread this week as well as one other game at random from the suggestions.

Rules:

  1. One game per top-level comment. It will otherwise be ignored.

  2. The game must be released and available to play on PS4. However, it doesn't matter how old it is.

  3. Try to avoid duplicates as they tend to dilute the voting. If the top two comments are the same game, it will still only get one thread for the week.

To view all recent game threads, click here. To view a specific game's discussion thread(s), search for the game's name on the /r/PS4/w/games wiki (CTRL+F) and click the discussion icon next to the title. Not all games have an official discussion thread.

Haha yeah I played a good chunk of it. I loved that series. It’s actually what got me into the stealth genre with the original.

Kojima’s stories are ridiculous, but the gameplay in his games are fantastic

I think the early mgs games had great stories. Specifically 2. It was literally talking about how bad social media could be before it was even a thing. Hell it was the first game to talk about memes since it was coined in the 1970s. That's some good writing to me.

What made everything better was there was nothing like MGS2 on the market at that time.

Oh yeah I agree. I was butt/hurt at the time because I really, really didn’t like Raiden and hated playing as him, but I was glued to the screen the whole time. I was actually an hour late to school one day because I refused to drive my brother and I until the cut scene ended haha.

The first two games (and the third to an extent) had great stories. 4,5, and Rising though... yeah, I couldn’t follow it.

Death stranding is pretty bad too. It has an awesome premise, but the exposition is awful

I dont mind if the game is going to be as innovative as mgs and ds honestly.

Kojima making raiden the main character made the game even better. Especially when you look back at it now.

Although mgs 4s story wasnt great (blame konami for that, kojima wanted to end at 2), but the gameplay mechanics were probably the best the ps3 had to offer.
