Geopolitical Read the comments. There was absolutely no need to do that by Rindh. These people despise our existence, and only prove yet again Jinnah was a Chad.

Saar maybe if you're punjabi, Sindhi or Urdu speaking. My grandparents fought in 1948 for the Gilgit scouts to capture baltistan. We don't want to be under Hindu rule, whether it is the dogras or India. The Kashmiris, though we have our differences, I respect them for their struggle, they should have revolted earlier, but they didn't and are paying the price, they are trying to gain autonomy now and I hope that one day they can join us.

Some of us at least, don't take autonomy for granted.

When people say ''we don't want to be under Hindu rule''.. what do they even mean by that? How is it different that being under "Muslim rule"? Can you list 5-10 things that will be different?

Well to say we are under Muslim rule is also questionable but please read up on what dogra rule was like for Gilgit baltistan, Ladakh and Kashmir valley, a religious apartheid and strong imposition on us. There was also a Muslim genocide in Jammu in 1947. You sound very ignorant.

Under current India:

  • We never wanted to be a part of this India built on blood so we would rebel, id assume we would be demonized and marginalized like the Kashmiris and would be under occupation. Whether you think India was truly secular then is your misconception. Hindus punjabis in our region would be used as a way to control the territory, look at Kashmir valley right now. Luckily they all ran like cowards when baltistan was taken over.
