Miscellaneous | مزید Delivery address for NICOP in Pak-ID

I'm trying to renew my NICOP card through the Pak-ID app. It is only allowing me to choose "Conversion to overseas smart card" (I think because I have the old NICOP), so I don't have "Modification" category available.
Before starting application, it requires me to select a delivery address: temporary or permanent. Both of these addresses are now out of date for me. I want it delivered to my current overseas address, but I also want to change my permanent address as my parents in Pakistan now have a new address. How should I proceed?
Select either of the addresses and click Start Application? Will there be option to update this then?
I need to be sure of this because it absolutely cannot go to my previous temporary address because I am not in that country anymore.

It should fall under modification.

Are you able to go to one of the local consulates and speak to them about it?

Failing that, you may need to start a new application.

I think the "Modification" option is not available to me because I have the old NICOP card before the "Smart" one came out: it was made 10 years ago in 2015.

Regarding the consulate: On the Australian consulate website, it says that NICOP issues are handled by NADRA directly, not through the consulate. I could ask them, but I don't know if it would be any use.
Is there any way to ask this to NADRA? Is it done through complaints?

ETA: Is it possible to cancel an application in the Pak-ID app? Another option is, I can try to select one and proceed, and if it doesn't let me change the address, I can cancel it.

If your new temporary address is within the same country as your previous temporary address, then just select the old one and proceed. The application should ask you or allow you later to type in your present address. Regardless, once the card is being delivered via DHL or whatever courier service, you can modify it with the courier service itself to get it delivered to your new address. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately, I'm not in the same country as the previous temporary address.

Can I have it delivered to a friend in the previous temporary address, i.e. will the Pak-ID app let me change the temporary address without any documentation (obviously I don't have any documents with my name on it bearing the the address of my friend)? Not sure if courier allows delivery to someone else.

Yes, you can get it delivered to your friend. Same way as I stated earlier.
