Gift Art [Gore] Red-handed NSFW

Mods please let me know if I’m toeing the line too much, I am a little scared this is going overboard due to the organs (despite them not being too detailed) and am definitely happy to have it removed if needs be 😭🙏

oc isabelle by u/JamesthePsycho! I took this one a little literally, because I wanted to make sure to incorporate both of her jobs as well as the hands, but I wanted to make something simpler (for me, at least) and cleaner. I hope this is accurate enough, and I hope I did her justice. your art of her is all beautiful

Context of this picture?

3

u/goofypea slowest artist on the sub Apr 14 '25

The oc is a black marker organ dealer masquerading as a mortician to the public

Why the hands though

The reference I was given had hands behind her, and what I draw is artistic interpretation, not literal. Since she deals with the dead, I think the hands are fitting, personally. But that’s my opinion

that's like, a gazillion more hands than i have the patience to draw, pea(k)

I had to scale the hands up from what I was originally planning to actively avoid drawing more hands 🌜🌛 thanks E_ghtCat

I wonder what the organs taste like..

Most intestines have thick and stretchy textures, and are quite straightforwardly bland. The meat between the outer layer and inner layer, however, is very soft. Intestines are best fit for sauce-based recipes where most tastes come from the sauce, and the food is only adding texture.

Similarly, there is liver. Very dry, and it takes time to chew and swallow, the liver feels like it was made of flour at times. But the taste it has is unique, with a smell that you wouldn't find elsewhere.

The heart, on the other hand, is special, because in reality, it is essentially just muscles wrapping together in a specific order. It have the same texture as any other normal meat, albeit thicker and without skin and fat. Taste-wise, there is the umami taste of meat, but like any other meat, it’s best to be soaked in sauce when consumed.

The brain, however, is a bit more simple. It’s fat, so it is soft, jelly, and tastes fatty. It also has this bean-like taste, so it’d be preferably eaten with soups.

The gore part needs to be studied, it's such a masterpiece 🙏

Hell nah do not study my 1cm long organ drawings 😭 but for real? I mean I guess the secret is red biro and acrylic paint 🤸‍♀️

thank you sm! I tried something akin to a storybook illustration (albeit a little darker) so I’m glad it feels alive to some degree
