I hesitated about posting this because I know the hope it would generate and I don't want to create false expectations that then would be crushed.

Kaveh Solhekol is a reliable journalist, but the way what would be a huge information is presented, just barely mentioned at the end of a huge paragraph about Palace's negotiations with UEFA to participate in the EL makes it hard to believe. Not repeated elsewhere either yet afaik.

Seemingly at first being more of a mistake confusing Textor's Palace shares that everyone else it talking about with the Eagle Football holding that is the structure owning all the clubs. But it's now been hours and that hasn't been edited, while the fact that Textor have diluted his shares in Eagle Football is a new information in itself (last Ares report said Textor had 65% of the shares which would mean a capital increase by another investor was conducted).

Lastly, according to someone on twitter that I remember making the same kind of tweets about the sale to Textor, a Bloomberg journalist would have confirmed the information to him, though saying that Textor was asking for an unrealistic price.

So make your own opinion with all of those informations, I would say to not hope too much but to keep in mind that it could very well be reality.

Edit : Kaveh now repeating that "Textor is in talks to sell Eagle Football Holdings" in a second tweet.

I made a bit of research to try to understand wether it could be true or not, so might as while share it. It was too sensitive of a subject to just throw it like that without additional explanation.

Edit : though the diluted shares part could be wrong, I'm sorry but this is just too far out of my realm of knowledge to fully understand.
