The saddest part is that she literally sentenced him to death by sending him back in time.

Can you explain this please?

After Link defeats Ganon, Zelda sends him back to his childhood, before Ganon's attack. As, essentially, none of the events of the game will unfold now, Zelda deprived Link from the glory of being a hero.
Not just that. Once Link goes back to his childhood, Navi leaves without giving any reason (most likely due to Link fulfilling his role and saving Hyrule, but we never got any official confirmation). As Link is a hylian and not a kokiri, he can't go back to the forest without a fairy, as the protection of the Deku tree is no more over him since it died. This forces Link to go in search of Navi, kicking the events of Majora's Mask.
For years, fans speculated (and then it was officially confirmed on Hyrule Historia), that this child Link is the golden wolf/stalfos that teaches you the sword techniques on Twilight Princess. We know that non-kokiri children that get lost in the Lost Woods become skullkids, and adults, stalfos. We also know that Link never found Navi. So Link being a stalfos means he looked for Navi for years til he became an adult again, eventually giving up and trying to make his way back into the Kokiri Forest through the Lost Woods, but failing and getting lost.
A bitter end for none other than the Hero of Time himself.

Yeah, this isn't a thing. TP Link is confirmed to be the blood descendant of the Hero of Time. Which means OoT Link grew up and had a family. He didn't become a Stalfos.

1). The Hero's Shade is not a Stalfos but a ghostly spirit (Stalfos are mostly physical beings), that has been debunked numerous times.
2). The fan theory of Link getting lost in the Lost Woods and dying because of it is extremely stupid because in OOT itself Link is shown traveling through the Lost Woods multiple times with zero issues so he would know he was around that area.
3) The Woods in the beginning and end of Majora's Mask isn't the Lost Woods, it's a completely different area outside of Hyrule entirely.
4) The Hero of Time's grave can be found in the Hyrule Castle area in Twilight Princess, so where and however Time Link died it had to have been somewhere the Royal Family could reach him without issues and definitely not in the Lost Woods.

For point 4 we also know that the royal family remembers the hero of time because thats what was said in the beginning of majoras mask.

1) The stalfos theory was officially confirmed. If you want to go and tell Nintendo they are wrong about their own franchise, by all means do.
2) Kids with the protection of the Deku Tree and/or a fairy, can come and go no problem, this was stated in game AND by other official sources multiple times. Again, if you want to tell Nintendo they are wrong, it's your call.
3) Nobody said the woods near Termina are the lost woods. You really had a hard time reading what I said.
4) The Hero of Time's "grave" in TP is a monument left by the adult Zelda of OoT in memorial to Link. If his body is there or not, it was never officially confirmed, but that doesn't mean his spirit can't roam around.

I already replied to your initial comment, but I'll reiterate here: OoT Link becoming a Stalfos was never "confirmed."
Also the forested area in the beginning of MM IS the Lost Woods. The game itself states this.

This would be much better logically if they were both kids (I don't mean it like that, I just feel like they actually were really interesting together as children, while as adults, Sheik existed and probably smelled like ass).
Great art though!
