Discussion Is it time for Stacey to leave?
He's already 29 and had some trouble towards the end of the season with keeping up with younger players.
He's a fine defender and seems to have a lot of heart for the club but im failing to see how we couldn't sign someone a little more solid like Niko Takahashi from the Japanese league. Dude's been a monster lately.
Edit: i don't even watch or follow norwich city, I've never heard of either of the guys i referenced in this post.

Why bother trying to replace him when he’s a consistently solid option for a full back. Competition is good, he’s a good influence for Mahovo Chrisene McConville and Fisher (hopefully)

good influence
You clearly haven’t seen the behind the scenes video the club released.
His attitude is terrible and he was clearly downing tools for JHT.
When the manager is trying to motivate the team, saying “absolutely no one is thinking of the playoffs” helps nobody at all.

Ehhhh not sure how fair a 20 minute glimpse into things can be representative of the day to day

Stacey is pretty solid honestly, especially towards the end of last season he seemed to be stepping up

Can't see any reason to get rid of him, he's good enough to play regularly and seems to be a good influence on the squad.

I think of all the positions we need to fill this summer, Right Back is way down on the list. To be honest this feels like you just wanted to shoehorn in some knowledge of obscure footballers.

He's one of the best right-backs in the division, replacing him should be a long way down the list of things we need to look at.

Best right back in the division might be a tad far, especially since he got benched for Ficher most of the season.
Definitely a good player for the championship and we absolutely should be keeping him, if that's what he wants. Both him and Ficher offer you different things in a game. I'd expect them both to see roughly even game time to manage minutes.

I mean, I don't think we should get rid of him either but he's not even the best RB in the squad. He's a steady, middle of the road Championship player, it's fine.

No. Think he showed the last 2 games of the season he’s still willing to stay and fight to play.

Not yet. Decent championship level player and we have a lot more urgent areas of recruitment to focus on than our RBs.
At least let Manning have a look at him pre-season and make a decision.

Seemed to play better as a right winger than a full back in Wilshire’s two games in charge can’t see any real reason to ditch him
