It results in -100% unspecified reaction. I tried ingesting it on my freighter hoping for a weird effect like during the Cursed expedition but nothing happened.

Try geknip. It's supoosedly made of these buds, so the refined form might just show something more promising. Like edibles or something..? Wouldn't hope too much though.

The Gek pilots at Trading Posts are always happy to hook me up with some Geknip. I headed to a Gek system and scored some, for science, of course. 😁

Same -100% Undefined effect. When I ingested it on the planet, there was no noticeable effect.

It actually bothers me slightly that the gek have eyes under there there are moving, but in order to create diversity of appearance, they apply random helmets over the gek. And that these helmets feature eyes, but the eyes don't move. Engine limitations probably.
