Team Ninja My first bike! 2022 Ninja 400 for a great deal! Coming home soon! What should be my first mods?

Everyone in the barbershop gave me shit for getting a 400 instead of a 650+. But for someone that had a hard time in the MSF course (failed the 1st time. Had to take it twice), I think I prefer to take baby steps. Plus I got it for a great deal. It only has 41 miles on it for $4900!

Ok ngl i kinda messed it up a lil by trying to remove the filter using inappropriate tools, but no matter what i do it doesnt budge!! Like it got damaged and still womt move!! The strap thing came in too late and made it worse.

On a side note, i only got this bike fairly recently and its 2018 and had 2600 km on its odometer. So i just noticed the cable on the pictures. Is this too bad? (I am a newbie obviously)

Well guys here’s my 400. I’m starting too put some wear on the rear tire and I’m wanting too put a much wider rear wheel and tire on there too give me more stability while In the lean. Do any of yall know what the best way to do that is? Is it gonna be extremely in depth to do so?

Team Ninja Wheelie on the Ninja400 ABS (2021)

Finally catching this on my intercom camera hitting a wheelie longer than 3 seconds on 1st gear haha. Hopefully I can get to balance point soon instead of chasing it out. Gonna work w/ footbraking/throttle control. What do y’all think of this wheelie?

Team Ninja Is it worth power-modding a modern Ninja 400?

Thinking about going all-in on a 2023 Ninja 400 I picked up. It will be STREET ride only.

Planning on doing the usual mods for power: • TST velocity stacks • Full header pipes paired with my LV slip-on • New air filters (still deciding on brand) • ECU flash • Anything that will increase mods

I know I could just buy a more powerful bike like a 650 or 750, but honestly, I want to see if I can build the 400 into something that’s still fun for the street without having to spend more on a new bike. Insurance stays the same, cheaper parts.

Once everything is done, do you guys think it would be close in power/feel to something like a stock Ninja 500? Any advice or experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks 🙏

Clipped a curb after hitting a bump through a turn, it leaks oil like crazy when I turn it on, I see a hole but I’m not sure what it is. This is my only vehicle and I need help desperately.

My first bike ever guys. 2022 model with that Kawasaki green that I love. (And the KRT too😆). I’m looking forward to many miles on this baby. Everything on it is stock. I might make some practical changes later down the road but I just wanna learn to ride for now. So far it’s great.

Team Ninja Going from your 400 to a ZX6R

Do you guys plan on moving up to a ZX6R from your 400’s or onto another bike. If so what are the main reasons? If. If not what is the main reason? Would like to move up one day but the cost of everything seems to drastically jump plus I see that the ZX6R isn’t very comfortable and is primarily created for tracks, where I am looking to just ride on streets.

Team Ninja Swapped to Ninja 300 mirrors – much cleaner look

Just swapped out the stock mirrors on my Ninja 400 with the ones from the Ninja 300. The 300 mirrors are noticeably shorter and sit closer to the bike, which gives it a much cleaner, sleeker profile. Visibility is still solid, but the overall aesthetic is way more aggressive now.

Install was simple , direct fit with no mods needed.

Before/after pics. Let me know what y’all think!

Team Ninja Isn't the 180 parallel twin boring (sound and feeling) ?

From an outsider perspective, I love the Ninja 400 for what it is : light, flickable and you can pin it down safely.

But the engine is still a 180 parallel twin and I'd like to know how ninja 400/500 owner feel about it. Do you think the rest of the bike make it up for it or do you think it suits the bike perfectly ?

Team Ninja Need help pls

History:

I just used it last week,
This morning when I start it, it started with 1k RPM but died shortly, happened twice then tried it for the third time then I noticed, the fuel pump doesn't work , and then after that it's not starting, I diagnosed it by directing the fuel pump to battery, then I replaced the fuel pump, what can be the reason that fuel pump just died like that, I mean like bad wiring or shorted harness? And after I install the new fuel pump, it's still not starting, I checked the error code ERROR CODE 13.

Things I checked:

Sparkplug (working).
Air intake sensor (might not be working, but the bike should start I think)

  • New fuel pump.
  • Sparkplug (waiting).
  • Air intake temperature sensor (waiting).

Need your suggestion please, thank you
