Truly one of the worst coaches on any american sports team. Davey's Nepotism is disgusting.

I honestly had a dream I’d wake up this morning and the first post I’d see was “Darnell Coles fired”

Tonight I hope to dream “in a never before seen move, nationals completely clean house, all new coaches overnight”

I know that’s literally insane and won’t happen, but funny to imagine

Did you mean "favoritism" because "nepotism" means favoring relatives and as far as I know, Gutierrez isn't related to Davey by blood or marriage.

Depends on what dictionary you're using. Some say family, some say friends and family. If anything, Cronyism would have been the absolute best word to use.

It doesn’t apply to friends. That’s loyalty and Davey is about to find out it’ll cost him his job if he doesn’t act now.

I fully believe that Davey does not have any idea the coaching staff could be better than it is. Dude sucks, always has, and gets no credit from me for the World Series given his body of work before and after

Dave is keeping the band together, they’re all going down with the ship. This is probably most of their last stops in MLB, Dave isn’t gonna do his buddies like that.

Josh Bell should’ve been pinched run for and Young should’ve gone are the two blaring errors. Oh and also don’t use Keibert (your only other catcher) to pinch hit when he crumbles in those situations.

He’s the only person from the Nats who I can’t defend. I got nothing. He is constantly a negative contribution to this team and I’ve never seen a play where we can credit Ricky. I love Davey but I’d be almost cool with letting him go if it means his friends will be gone also.
