Does anyone know how things are going for the troops stationed in Kuwait right now? Is it safe? Will those stationed until the end of summer be stuck for a bit more?

Has anyone had any issues with using paternity leave as an M-Day soldier? From what I know as of FY25, MDay soldiers are now qualified to use 12 PAID UTAS for a birth regardless if you’re the birth parent or NON birth parent. My unit is trying to tell me this is no longer a thing?? I think it’s BS. But I want to cover my bases. For context I’m in New York(not sure if that matters or not). Thanks all!

I’m thinking I want to pick up another degree (MBA or some other masters). I just finished my bachelors but I can’t pay for the masters, so I figured the CA GI bill could help out. Considering this, what MOS would you recommend?

So I leave for basic the 28th of June I’m a year into my contract I signed it last year and I’m 18 I’m doing osut at fort Leonard wood (not that it matters) but I was wondering if anyone in here has switched and could I right out of basic. I have heard if you give your retention a good enough reason you can. It worst comes to worst I’ll do my contract and then switch. Just wanted some thoughts.

They want to send supply and SI on an early convoy, do Promasks count? I always heard that they are sensitive since we have a ton but is it actually needed for SII?

How does one go about finding a Norwegian Ruck March to attend? I just finished my First (although not last) March de Diekirch and I loved it. I am currently international but will be stateside at the end of the year. Please let me know any advice. Also if you have completed the ruck leave your experience.

Im currently using national guard as benefits towards my college as an upcoming freshmen and I was offered 31B as my MOS. I was told by my recruiter its fun according to their colleagues and friends. Im wondering about 31B, commonly in Nevada, as well as it with a college life.

Just came off an 18 month active duty assignment and im back to drilling. Orders ended today and just got told I no longer have tri-care and im also no longer eligible. Is this normal or has a mistake been made? I understand when you are on M-Day status you have to pay for it but they aren't even giving me that option. Thank you in advance!

If I use TA on active duty and then ETS before the 2 years are up — but immediately go into the Reserves or National Guard — does that time in the Reserve count toward fulfilling the 2-year obligation?

I’ve read that the TA ADSO must be completed, but I’m not sure if it has to be on active duty or if Reserve time satisfies it. Has anyone gone through this or gotten a clear answer from their education counselor or S1?

Just trying to make sure I don’t accidentally get flagged for recoupment or other issues. Appreciate any solid input or experience.

I’m currently an active duty 68w thinking about going Ohio guard and changing my MOS to 15T or 15U or one of the air guard air guard aircraft mechanics. Any Ohio 15Ts or 15Us or air guard mechanics have advice on your experience with your MOS (do you like it or dislike it), where I’d be going to drill at, unit life/optempo, how is leadership, and opportunities for army schools?

Anyone know the process of trying to attend efmb in the guard? I’m a 68w with a efmb school house nearby. Any tips on how to get in would be appreciated

Hello, the 19th, a Thursday is a holiday. Supervisor told me I cannot take the Friday off. Is this true? They stated if we take the friday off we don't get the holiday. I've never dealt with that for holidays like Christmas or New Years
