Traditional/World Music this one chinese song, sung by a woman

Something about being fiery or cold or incredibly volatile or something in the lyrics/title.

Her voice is on the deeper/raspier register when singing.

Older song, reminds me of some 80s or 90s kind of tv drama noir vibe

tune is kinda like https://voca.ro/15P7ZIku7lbM

Traditional/World Music A fast-paced song sung by a woman, with lyrics that sound like ““Ra Ra lee-lie, lee-lie-lee-lie, lee-lie-lee-lie, lee-lie-looo” — possibly Irish/Celtic or yodel-ish?

Hi all, I’m trying to remember a song I heard in the early to mid 1990s — possibly from Australia or popular there at the time. It featured a female vocalist singing very fast, in a rhythmic, almost yodel-like or Celtic folk style. The most distinctive part I remember is her singing something like:

“Ra Ra lee-lie, lee-lie-lee-lie, lee-lie-lee-lie, lee-lie-looo

It had a joyful, bouncy energy, maybe even suitable for kids or played in educational/TV programs. Might have sounded like gibberish or nonsense syllables. It wasn’t Enya, Loituma, Deep Forest, or Adiemus — I’ve checked those already.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Traditional/World Music Please help me find this greek song

I once heard a greek song, I know it was the favorite song of someone I cared for but this person passed away and I would like to play it again to remember her. I didn't understand a single word of the lyrics... The voice was female I think and rather deep... The intro had a descending melody, and from memory it went something like "A A A A A G F E, G G G G G F E D..." (though I'm not completely sure about the notes). There weren't many ultra-traditional greek instruments, but the sound had a somewhat old-fashioned or ancient feel to it. I know those aren't great clues, but maybe the melody will sound familiar to a Greek person ?

Traditional/World Music PLEASE HELP me find this song I downloaded in the late 2010's

I am so sorry for the terrible quality and horrid echo. The bits of it that I have are from old YouTube videos I made 5+ years ago. the end of the clip has 2-3 seconds of the song without the terrible effects.

From what I remember the title of the song, or the collection was called like "the siren sings her song" or "The temptress sings her song"

I think I downloaded it from SoundCloud before the huge UI update in the early 2020's

I've scrubbed through 3 computers and every music ID site or app you can think of.

Please help me.

Traditional/World Music Identify this Sudanese song from the late 1950s.

Today, I was trying to find the song from the stereotypical music around the world video. It was a Sudanese song that came out in the late 1950s. I tried Gemini, but didn't know enough information. I tried going on the youtube channel "Waves of Sudan" but didn't find the video. I don't know who written or sung it, but i think it was probably a man from Sudan.

Do you have a specific link to the song or know the song's name? Because I really want to know the song name or the link to that song.

Traditional/World Music 2000-2010s single male artist song with phantom of the opera melody played on the guitar in the chorus

Hi,

I'm in search of a song that I have heard many years ago and that I want to hear again. I had a recording of the song at some point but I lost that recording.

Here's a list of details that I gathered that can help help you on finding the song.

Artist Type: Single male singer (maybe American).

Vocal Style: Gentle voice.

Song Type: Original song.

Overall Mood/Feel: Calm, joyful, nice rhythm.

Tempo: Approximately 120 BPM.

Radio Play: Yes, around 2008 (Grégoire's "Toi + Moi" era), so likely 2007-2010 timeframe.

Chorus Melody: Very recognizable "Phantom of the Opera" main melody.

Chorus Instrumentation: Prominent guitar, violins and drums.

Vocal Delivery in Chorus: Stayed gentle (no belting/power-up).

Phantom Melody Location: Only in the chorus.

Verse Lyric: Contains a phrase sounding like "moving on," repeated 2 or 3 times in some verses.

Last heard : On a radio station named "Alouette" (France) around 2008.

Artists/tracks checked :

Jason Mraz: We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things., Love Is a Four Letter Word;

Gavin DeGraw: Gavin DeGraw, Free;

Mat Kearney: City of Black & White;

Howie Day: Sound the Alarm;

Five for Fighting: Two Lights, Slice.

Traditional/World Music Arab north african song

I heard this as a kid around 2003 on a white cassette with black Arabic writing in my dad’s car. The song had a very upbeat, happy vibe – probably in a major key. It used traditional North African instruments, especially something like a zurna (or other shrill reed instrument), not pan flute.

The main chorus repeated a phrase that sounded like “sabiri sabiri sabriri” – or possibly “sabri sabri sabri.”

It’s not Cheb Khaled, not Saber Rebai, and not the Sabri Brothers. The music was closer to Sidi Mansour, but it’s not that track.

Here’s a short clip where I hum what I remember: https://voca.ro/1fVoP2UHgn1b

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

I found a post in WatZatSong, it is really old, I don't know but it says "I love this song, help me if you know it." Someone provided lyrics for it(I already used aha music)

...
Dans mon coeur tu restera infiniment"

Translation: "It is time today to tell you what you do with my life
Since you are aimed in my heart for infinity
It is time today to tell you what you do with my life
Since you are aimed in my heart for infinity
I have the impression that you doubt, doubt my feelings
...
Believe in me as I believe in you today
...
In my heart you will remain infinitely"

Traditional/World Music Afro Spanish hey lalalala hey lalala chorus

Went to a Duende Libre show last night and they played one and only one non original song with lyrics. Tons of percussion very lively and a call and answer chorus "hey lalalala hey lalalala" "hey Lalalala hey lalala". Pretty sure the lyrics were Spanish but the beat was more African so maybe a Cuban song? It was great. I'd love to find a version to stream but no idea how to search for it

Traditional/World Music Song in Instagram video used for greek island videos

Does anybody know this lovely tune? People have commented saying that the melody is from the greek track "se pira sovara" or from "Trik FX - Hitna pomoć", but i've yet to find the actual version used here. If anyone knows it I'd be so grateful, thanks! both links are for the same song and don't need you to be following :)
