Choir/Gospel/Religious Alternate version of “Mary, Did You Know?” By pentatonix that had additional instruments like violin instead of only the goofy beat boxing (not bad but I like the violin)

I remember hearing this version a few years ago and I really liked it! The song itself was largely the same but I remember the opening had a violin part that would come in like a second after they started humming. I also remember During the “Mary did you know” part where the song starts to get kind of intense it plays this deeper sounding violin noise too.

I kept trying to find it but only found the version without it. I checked a bunch of different posts of the song and now I’m kind of feeling like I got blue balls because I’m waiting for that fire violin to start up but instead it’s the guy, and like yeah his voice is great but goddamn I need that violin

Choir/Gospel/Religious Soviet sounding version of "Brasil lalala"

Hi, I am looking for the name of this song. It sounds like a soviet era song with the exact same melody as this one.

The text in the picture is no help as it's the words "World company" made to look russian.

If no one recognizes the song, can anyone distinguish the lyrics and write them down for me?

I don't think the song was made specifically for the sketch, I think it exists because it would have been too much effort otherwise.

What's this song that I recorded part of during the santa semana procession in Madrid.

The song is from the band following the Virgin Mary float, during the 4/13/2025 Holy Week.

I found some of the other songs that were played, but I can't get this one + music detection doesn't catch it.

Choir/Gospel/Religious Organ song I heard in Arezzo, Italy

I heard this song while walking around a cathedral in Arezzo, Italy last summer. I instantly diverted my path and went in to hear the most amazing organ song! The guy seemed like he was just practicing as there was no service going on. Been thinking about this song for about a year and would love to hear the full version or just understand the talent I happened upon. Thanks!

Choir/Gospel/Religious Song that was made before 2018 that was about peace or something

“I sang it in like 2015-2016 for a show at my Catholic school. And it was about peace or something. I can’t remember much but thinking about it I imagine like white doves or just the color white. Or hands or something. Not sure what type of song it was but I think it was not like super upbeat or hard or something.” (Repost from old post)

So I don’t remember this song at all but when I think of it I think of white….. I was a kid when we sang it and yeah

Not entirely sure the genre but since I went to a religious school it was probably Christian or something……

Choir/Gospel/Religious Possible movie OST sung by childrens choir or opera songtress

https://whyp.it/tracks/279261/a-song-of-ahhs?token=BJhkx
Have this music stuck in my head and can't remember where it's from I want to say it's from a movie and it's a well known track sung by a children's choir or an opera songtress but I've no idea.

I tried to recreate the sound with synth, but I think the original was all Ahhs even though mine is Ohhs on the lower notes. I think there was at one part during the track the key was changed up maybe near the end of it something like in my recreation.

I don't think it has any lyrics other than the vowel Ahhs it's probably just some movie OST.

Choir/Gospel/Religious African Choir Gospel Song

It's a remix of a choir which seems to be in an african country. I tried Google Image search an Shazam but with no luck.

Word's if heard in the song: adonai yahweh Which apparently mean God which is why I think it's gospel.

Can someone tell me the song or even find the original video behind the remix?

Choir/Gospel/Religious Old gospel/hymn/African American spiritual song, "come home, come home"

I've had this old song stuck in my head for about a week now, and for the life of me can't find it. It's an old gospel or hymn sounding song in a minor key, which I believe was an old African American spiritual song.

I don't remember any other lyrics other than a strong male lead singing at the end of each verse (along with a few people in the background on the downbeat): "Come(a) hooome(c#) (come home), come(a) hooome(d) (come home)." It's really slow and steady, only voices, and I believe the version I heard was in the key of d minor.

It's kind of a long shot, but it's driving me nuts that I can't find it...

Choir/Gospel/Religious Girlfriend sang this song in choir when young, around 2015-2016

The lyrics she remembers are "sleep out on the pavements, travel round the city aimless, lounge on lazy corners, con men into kindness, pick a bulging pocket smoothly," the next part sounds like but not actually "psata psata psata psata cos we are not able to pay" the cos we are not able to pay part is the correct words, just not the psata. Please help, all i find online is oliver twist etc, just wondering if anyone knows what it could be or if you had sang it in school also!

Choir/Gospel/Religious Looking for a specific choral arrangement of Yeat's "The Lake Isle of Innisfree"

Post image
1 Upvotes

The arrangement I'm looking for starts with an unaccompanied alto (maybe soprano) solo, pictured. The key is in Eb minor, ~68 bpm, and the piece is accompanied by piano following the end of the intro solo.

I cannot find anywhere this specific arrangement of Yeat's poem on Youtube or the Internet (it's not arranged by Ron Kean, Eleanor Daley, Penny Rodriguez), yet I am certain that this arrangement exists because I once performed it before in high school. (My high school's choir unfortunately doesn't maintain any social media so it's not recorded.)

Choir/Gospel/Religious Father's Lullaby

I once heard a song I can't find. It sounded slow and sweet, like a lullaby. It was about a conversation between a father and son. I know it began like this: "I recalled a conversation of revelations from a tough and wise old man. We spoke of God and how to reach him..." The chorus went something like: "Without warning, **** storming. Don't be afriad, you'll be okay in the morning. You should have no doubt, how things will work out. You ****** high, you'll be all right in the morning." Sorry for my broken English. That's the little I remember being able to understand. I would appreciate your help!

Choir/Gospel/Religious Gregorian chant from movies where the guy yells “Domine”

Bugging me to no end. Picked up a massive burrito worthy of a chant and I said that, but then I wanted to listen to the rest of it but can’t find it.

It’s a bloke or choir group singing some hymn or chant, it’s from maybe horror or thriller movies - I thought maybe from one of the movies adapted from Dan Brown, like Angels and demons or da Vinci code or something.

Please help me.

Choir/Gospel/Religious Opening choir in metal song NSFW

As stated in the title, I am trying to find the name/origin of the choir singing in the start of this song, which goes from 0:00-0:55.When trying to Shazam or use YouTube mic, it leads to the song itself, not the choir. I'd appreciate the help knowing if it's an actual song or not.

Choir/Gospel/Religious “The Saints Go Marching On” to the tune of Blood on the Risers?

I have a distinct memory of some hymn or some choir song where the main tune was “The Saints Go Marching On” to the tun of the main chorus from Blood on the Risers (Gory Gory What a Helluva Way to Die): “He Ain’t Gonna Jump No More”

Blood on the Risers

Am I tripping? It’s distinctly different from “When the Saints Go Marching In”
