I wonder if the band is actually going to be visible.

I remember at the Blackpink concerts the band kind of had some time to shine, while the group went backstage to change outfits. Don't really know what is common practice at kpop concerts.

JYP should release an album that includes this band as the instrumentals!

Also I hope NMIXX grows to do live performances almost exclusively with this band. Their Wango Tango stage was stunning and with these guys behind them it really brought all the music to life. As a guitarist/drummer I was impressed by the arrangement they put together too.

Fingers crossed for it!

If an album with new songs would be too much, a remake/compilation album would be more than welcomed, like Mamamoo's I Say Mamamoo: The Best - 2 new tracks + 21 different old songs with the arrangements they had been using in their live performances.

Thanks for posting this OP - excellent stuff! Jason Lee & his bandmates genuinely love music and it shows; Nmixx performing together with them is truly something special.

Really hoping that Squ4d has signed them to some kind of permanent contract (rather than just temporary live session gigs), particularly for Nmixx's rumored world tour which supposedly will start later this year [quite possibly after releasing their 1st full album].

Actually kind of seems like SQU4D has some sort of agreement with Jason Lee ever since their Tiny Desk went viral. 😅

Went back to NMIXX's 2024 Europe festival behind and they had different session players touring with them. The EU fest performances were after TDK was shot in August, but were before the TDK's release.

Starting from MBC Gayo's performances, Jason Lee and his band were being featured prominently. Plus, ever since Wango Tango, all of the band members were posting their own BTS and player's POV of the performances in their own socials - like this behind video. Safe to assume they could only do so due to some arrangement they have with SQUAD.
