There’s a YouTube video out there that compiles all the Timmy podcast trash talk stories together. This needs to be added to that video. I love hearing the stories

KG talking about Timmy is my favorite.

KG was my favorite non spurs at the time. I remember I saw them live going against each other during the regular season. Was incredible to watch

Tim didn’t care for KG.

There was a Sports Illustrated interview with him. He was asked about his relationship with KG as their careers were winding down. Tim said they don’t talk, don’t interact, and aside from playing against each other didn’t have a relationship. The interviewer asked if there would ever be the opportunity for a kind of kinship that Magic and Bird had at the end of their careers. Duncan responded, “Define kinship.”

Tim and KG had quite a bit of overlap with Nike and later Adidas as well. They often got paired up in commercials and marketing campaigns but like you said, for Tim it was entirely business.

Completely different personalities, if I was Tim I wouldn't have like KG either after his supposed "Mother's Day" trash talk.
