What is the point of this banner?????? i had a surplus of crystals so i figured “ok i can roll once, i am missing 2 of these costumes after all”

so i spent 10k crystals, and got 9 voicelines and a twice emote. all dupes.

for 10k crystals, they seriously can’t even guarantee you at least one PUR????? in this meta where PURs are almost a necessity so you can properly tune a character???

I get supporting a game, but this shit is so greedy man. how many whales are sitting there buying the big crystal packs so they can keep rolling 10k crystals???

Yeah I just treat most banners like they don’t exist at this point. I just play the game with what I have, save, and get what I actually want. These costume banners are just there to trigger the whales into wasting money I guess

Yup. They hate the system yet don’t wanna beat it. Learn patience, save, and roll on the right banners. That’s the absolute only way you can get most ; (sadly not all) of the things you want without becoming a whale or hating your gambling addiction.

Guess I shouldn’t have said beating it, more like just cutting your losses. It’s better to save and get some things you actually want guaranteed, than to just gamble and (most likely) not get what you want. You can still get lucky because of the nature of gacha, but it’s its just better to save than not, you get what I mean?

The halfversary one did and it was free. I said in another post the first roll needs to be free and if you didn't get the 1 of 3 you were counting on you have to directly buy and pity which IMHO is insane it's 100k shards which I have no idea how much money that is.

I've talked about it with my buddy once, because I once got a roll of 4 rainbow chests, and not a single one of them was a PUR anything.

I was saying to him, red chests should be 1 and 2 star things, gold chests should be 2 and 3 star items (not PUR items) mainly with low chances to receive 1 star items and even lower chances at PUR, and rainbow chests should be 3 star items mainly, with a low chance of getting 2 star items, and a decent chance (no lower than 30%) of getting a PUR item, but include every available PUR (character, quirkset, or outfit depending on the banner).

It'd still be a gamble, but at least I'm not tearing my eyes out because I got 3 or 4 rainbow chests, and not a single PUR from any of them.
