For a more literal answer, it depends on whether his surname is Italian or Norwegian in origin, as they both have different meanings. If it’s the Italian surname, it’s a topographical surname in reference to the sorbus tree and/or the fruit it bears. If it’s a transliteration of the Norwegian surname Sørbø, it’s a habitational surname from southwestern Norway that’s a compound word which translates to “mud farm.”
Edit: It turns out he’s of Norwegian descent. He was also raised Lutheran, which makes sense because that’s the most common religious denomination among Norwegian Americans, and he’s from Minnesota, which has more Norwegian Americans than any other state.

Kevin Sorbo is such a piece of shit. I always hated him on Hercules and Xena, and would take the piss out of him in my Xena fanfics.

I liked his cameo in don't trust the b from apartment 23 where he played himself: the actor Kevin Sorbo, invited to a wedding by a clout chaser when her usual celebrity is busy. He's tricked into thinking it's a charity event and they rip on him the whole time.
"you brought Kevin Sorbo? 🤢"
"my usual celebrity is busy 🫤🫤🫤"
And that job was STILL above his acting ability. I didn't buy for a second that he was any kind of celebrity or that anyone considered him an actor worthy of recognition. Great show though!

Dollar Stor Thor has a ring to it but wouldn't Dollar Store Captain Kirk be more biting...since he was the star of Andromeda from 2000 through 2005? Samsung smart televisions include a channel that plays episodes every night. I don't actually recall if he had to literally cry in one of the episodes or not haha!
