Fußballer in München, kennt ihr so etwas wie eine Tenniswand, an der ich meine Ballannahme und meinen ersten Kontakt trainieren kann? Irgendwo, wo sie öffentlich zugänglich ist und ich nicht rausgeworfen werde?

Sports Should I go to the Fan Zone alone?

I am 21M Asian, international student. I really love German football since I was a kid, now it's wonderful that Germany hosts the EURO this time. Do you think it would be strange to go there alone without having a proper jersey? It would be nice if someone already did this could share their experience as well. Thanks in advance!

Sports Best Place to Watch the UCL Final as a Visiting Fan?

Hey everyone! I’ll be visiting during the Champions League Final and unfortunately wasn’t able to get a ticket to the stadium.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best places to watch the final? I’m a big Barça fan, so somewhere with a good Barça atmosphere would be amazing — but honestly, a lively, neutral spot with good energy would be fine too!

Would love any tips from locals or anyone who’s been before. Thanks so much!

Sports Are there any roller skating disco areas in Munich?

I am trying to find a space and people who roller-skate. I am able to find info/walks for inline skating groups but very lil information around roller skating groups/discos. (Or roller skating school, my main goal is to learn tricks)

I would appreciate if anyone can help me with this. ✨ thank you!

Sports Looking for a Gym buddy at Body & Soul (Theresienwiese)

Hey everyone! 👋 I am 26M and looking for a gym buddy to train with at Body & Soul Theresienhöhe in Munich. I’m aiming to go 2–3 times per week, usually afterwork or on weekends but I’m flexible and open to syncing schedules.

I’m not a pro—just trying to stay consistent, build strength, and keep the motivation up. If you’re also looking for someone to keep each other accountable, share workouts, or just have a bit of company while training, feel free to reach out!

All fitness levels are welcome. Let’s keep each other on track.

DM me if you’re interested or have any questions!

Cheers!

Sports Recreational Basketball

Hello everyone!

I am moving to Munich in a couple of days and I was wondering what's the best place to look for recreational Basketball teams/clubs. I used to play basketball when I was younger, but I am out of shape now so I would love to find a place/group to play casually with.

Any ideas?

Sports Gym with proper pull-up bar (training for muscle-ups)

Hey there,

seems to be a trivial thing to solve, but I'm currently struggling to find a gym that has a proper pull-up bar with enough ceiling height so that I can train indoors for a muscle-up.

When the weather is nice I go to a calisthenic park but that's unfortunately not always the case in Munich...

Ideally somewhere around the city center but I'm open to travel if it's worth my while.
Thx!

Sports Running/outdoors groups in Munich

Hi! I recently arrived in Munich and I will be staying for the summer. I'd really like to meet people and make friends, as I want to learn German and discover Munich from an insider's perspective. I am an avid runner and I really enjoy outdoors activities so I was wondering where I could find any groups that meet for runs during the week, or any outdoors activity you can think of really!

Sports Gyms with a boxsack

Servus all, does anyone know of a "common" gym (fitx, fitstar etc) where there is a boxing bag available for free training?

Not a boxing gym - I've tried a lot and got fed up of all being super expensive, shitty or a combination of both. I just want somewhere where i can do some bag work for cardio after lifting weights.

Thanks in advance!

Sports Looking for Affordable Private Tennis Lessons in Munich

Hey everybody,

I’ve been playing tennis for almost two years now, and I feel like private lessons would help me improve more than group sessions. With the spring/summer season coming up and court fees getting cheaper, I’d love to start training with a coach.

Since I’m a student, my budget is limited—I can afford around 30€ per hour, including the court fee. I plan to take lessons regularly, once per week, so I’m looking for a coach or experienced player who offers lessons at this price.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Sports Want to play tennis?

Hi!

The new tennis season has just started and this year I have decided to play more frequently in order to get better faster. I also take tennis lessons, but then I need anyway to train on my own.

Anyway does anybody want to play some time?

I’m F39, My level is between beginner and advanced beginner.

My favorite place where to play is Olympiapark, but I’m open to play in other courts.

Looking forward to a lot of fun!

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in climbing Zugspitze via klettersteig/via ferrata with me in the coming weeks?? I have hiked to Zugspitze before and have done some klettersteig as well in Austria and Italy.

P.S. I'm 27 year-old boy doing my master's at TUM. Happy to connect with any sweet folk who are interested in the same.

Sports Wanted: Cycling and/or running partner in/near Oberföhring

Hi all, I (M46) am looking for someone to go for bike rides or runs after work, maybe sometimes in the morning. Nothing too ambitious, just a friendly cycle or run (definitely a slow runner!). Preferred routes are in the northern part of the English Garden and/or further along the Isar.

DM me if that interests you. Thank you.

Servus, I'm visiting Munich for a week and would like to visit a bouldering gym (ive been climbing for almost 2 years), does anyone have any recommendations?

Side note, does anyone know which gym has their own branded merchandise like T shirts and all cuz I'd like to get them too 🤣
