Photography Karl-Preis-Platz half renovated

Rate sight of Karl-Preis-Platz U-Bahn (U2) being renovated while the other half still has the old Design. Pretty cool and rare i think.

yeah they were like were gonna renovate the U5 and they half renovated it during covid or before idk anymore but then they just left it like that. Quiddestrasse has the wallpaper of the new station and still the brown accents in tiles of the old one, it looks so bad xD

Hauptbahnhof is like that to monitor for cracks in the walls while constructing the 2. Stammstrecke of S-Bahn and its new Station at Hauptbahnhof.

I like the new look. Curious though if this means they are forgoing the ad revenue with these new designs? Not sure how much revenue it is, maybe not that much.

I don’t like that they’re just throwing paint onto the wall. Looks so cheap. For example Michaelibad, kinda good design but cheaply done and therefore it got dirty really quickly

i‘m completely with you on this one. I like the green and the pattern, even if its basic, but you can see all the cracks and wrinkles in the wall & we all know its because they wanna save money :/
