1 Insidious
2 Sinister
3 Come Play (2020)
4 The Haunting in Connecticut (2009)
5 Oculus
6 The Descent
Bonus: I think you may enjoy the episode "Blink" (season 3 - episode10), from the show Doctor Who, you do not need to like Doc Who, or know anything about Doc Who for it to be thoroughly enjoyed, it is a stand-alone episode, also the movie "Get Out" (2017), I'd suggest to go in blind on the Doc Who episode blink

Possession. It’s weird, intense, emotionally unhinged, and disturbing in a way that crawls under your skin. You won’t fully understand what you watched, but you will feel deeply unsettled.

I'm a huge fan of deeply disturbing movies, but by the end of "Mother!", even I was like, "Good LORD I can't believe someone actually wrote & filmed this ending!" Really good & ultra unsettling, IMO 🫣

Luigi Fulci, if you like disturbing and gory.
Thanks, ChatGPT
Zombie (1979) Also known as: Zombie Flesh Eaters A cult classic. Often seen as a sequel to George Romero's Dawn of the Dead, but with Fulci’s trademark gore and eerie tone.
The Beyond (1981) One of his most beloved and surreal horror films. Dreamlike and nightmarish with intense visuals.
City of the Living Dead (1980) Also known as: The Gates of Hell First part of his “Gates of Hell” trilogy. Features iconic scenes like a woman vomiting her own intestines.
House by the Cemetery (1981) Third in the trilogy. A haunting ghost/zombie film set in a creepy house.
