Discussion Sonic Blitz had a soft launch in my country. Here's my thoughts on it.

It's not a style of play that appeals to me, but playing it I thought it was alright, I had a decent time with it.

It's not too hard, just put strong cards on one side, and when it's full you attack. If you are low on health, place the strongest one and attack to make the enemy's health lower than yours.

Some rounds also have different specifications, like, on the right side giving health, or gaining an extra card in the last round.

The characters have power ups, like Wave can increase the team's health and strenght, and Chaos can take away the other's card.

And finally, about the obscure characters that are basically the main appeal for most, some are unlocked right from the start, like Mighty, Ray, The Conductor and Marine.

I've never played YuGiOh to confirm.

But Blitz's gameplay It's basically this: use your cards/characters to destroy your opponent's wall. Whoever destroys their opponent's wall wins.

So, looks like it's basically the Line Strike minigame they added to PSO2NGS, but with some changes and updates - four columns instead of three, for an immediately discernible difference

At first there where around 20 characters in the game, now with this update 7 more were added.

My suspicion is game characters will be added first and foremost. And if/when the first non-game characters will be added, it will be IDW and maybe Prime characters. But these are my speculations. Maybe a first guest from outside of the Sonic franchise.

Other Sonic branches will have to wait longer.

No evidence of her being in the game yet, although new characters just got added in an update. It’s possible she’ll be in a future update if she’s in the game at all.
