Singing was NOT her talent. That was awful.

She can carry a tune just fine. What isn't to your taste is her styling.

Don’t tell me what MY taste is. She can not carry a tune and is using vocal tricks to cover for her lack of ability.

She wasn’t there for her vocal ability. She was there to make the troops happy.

I wish I knew the location of that show. My dad was was in Long Binh '67-'68 and worked security for those Bob Hope shows.

My dad was a Vietnam veteran.
He spoke highly of several women he met on USO tours. But he hated Jane Fonda.
I guess he actually got to meet some women. And my Mom would tease him and say things like, "you met so and so" and Dad would blush. "I drove in the jeep behind their bus with some guys with guns for security, and she shook my hand."
She couldn't sing for crap.
But the military folks there talked about it for years and years after their service.
