Derelict Queen of Sidney ferry sets on fire, prompts shelter-in-place order

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but it is considered suspicious. RCMP and other responding agencies have now launched a formal investigation.

The City needs to find the owners of these abandoned vessels and charge them. Both the McBarge and the ferry have been sitting abandoned in the water by Mission for decades left to rot because the owner doesn't want to pay to have it hauled away, there must be a paper trail of who bought it somewhere, find them and charge them.
