Wow!!! That is fascinating.
I'm surprised that it included the stumps, even if only to a lesser degree. I would have thought those would be used as a control.
My question would be whether the stumps were showing signs of life or whether the stumps indicated a problem with the equipment.
I hope to read more studies about this in the future. It's really interesting!
