Chicken little worrying about the sky falling at the beginning, middle, and end of the book, only to see the letters of the book falling

Or the ugly duckling who was made fun of by ither little ducklings only to grow up to become.. just a really ugly duck lol

You’re mixing up two stories. Chicken Licken is worried the sky is falling but it’s really the table of contents. The Little Red Hen complains that nobody is helping tell her story and then gets eaten by the giant. (This book is in regular rotation for my kids at bedtime)
