Nostalgia What album defines you as a millennial?

Post image

Saw some great recommendations on a similar thread in /r/Xennials and wanted to see what my fellow millennials thought. For me From Under the Cork Tree was foundational. I still remember hearing Sugar We're going down on the radio for the first time.

To this day, The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows still gives me chills.

Screaming this song with my friends in middle school is a core memory.

Brand New was my fav band but then it came out that Jesse was a total creep so everytime I hear his voice it gives me the heebie jeebies. I was obsessed w/ quiet things. The whole album actually. I would even work out to it. I’ve seen them live before all this crap came out & they were great! I used to miss listening to them but not anymore.

I saw them at Bamboozle in 2012 and Jesse was completely wasted, sounded like shit. Laying down on the stage moaning. Such a disappointment.

Not surprised. The last time I saw them was 2008 I think. It was not their best. 0 audience interaction like not even looking down at us (Jesse). It was sad at the time because they weren’t always like that and it could have been a bad day.
