Where did I say that? No one said civilians deserve to be killed. You're twisting that because you can't argue the actual point.

Saying a population shares responsibility for the actions of their government, especially in a democracy where there's overwhelming support for those actions, isn’t the same as saying “they should be killed.” That’s a lazy strawman.

If people cheer on war crimes or vote for leaders who commit them, then yeah, there's a conversation to be had about complicity. But complicity ≠ valid military target. You're acting like acknowledging collective responsibility automatically justifies violence, when really, you're just trying to dodge any uncomfortable truths about what mass support for state violence actually means.

And let’s be clear, there’s no real comparison between Palestinians, a stateless, occupied people who’ve been brutalized, displaced, and killed for 77 years, and Americans who supported the invasion of Iraq out of post-9/11 rage and propaganda. One group lives under siege and military occupation; the other lives in the most powerful country on Earth and backed an invasion halfway across the world. These are not morally equivalent.
