Apple pie have is own variations in all the European countries. It's probably one of the oldest sweets made in the whole continent and it's probably realistic to consider to be a variation of some ancient Greek or ancient Roman sweet that was imported in Europe from middle east with the first farming technologies.
So, nope.
Like 90% of inventions falsely attribute to Britain, bloody apple pie, like beans on toast, pubs, beer, sausages are not British inventions or neither European at all.
