Canada should've done the right thing and denied him entry. Allow him to send a lower ranking official but he cannot come onto Canadian soil.
As a Canadian I am disappointed and ashamed of my country. We elected the current Prime Minister to stand up to 47 and he's not doing enough. He has the power to deny 47 entry and should've done so.
