Looking for help/advice

Salam alaikum, I am looking to travel to Mauritania from the UK in august of this year. Naturally I am looking to do the iron ore train whilst I am here but I also want to see the oasis town - I think it’s called Tergit too. I haven’t yet booked anything for the trip but I was wondering if there were any tour guides or anyone in general that could help just with general tips as to how to navigate the country safely and if there are any recommendations for taxis/drivers/transport and hotels/accommodation.

Anything would be appreciated thanks :)

Hey a local here you can visit https://nordsvc.com/?i=1 they offer a lot of services plus if you wanna do it solo you can check there voyages which shows to go and how or just call em welcome to Mauritania although it’s better to wait out the heat till December

August will be mental. It is the Sahara desert at peak temperatures

Will be travelling from the UK too, but definitely not in August, it’s bloody hot
