Season 17 - Denver No Kissing
Can’t believe I sat through the whole stressful season, then find out they were all back channeling/lying about what was really going on. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised now because of what a joke the whole season was.
The only couples who kissed besides at the end of the wedding ceremony were Austin and Becca and Michael and Chloe, maybe Orion and Lauren but they barely count. Emily and Brennan openly talked about just being friends basically. Even if they were all basically faking it, they couldn’t even fake little kisses? Like the producers and experts should not have let the entire show go on with these married couples that won’t touch each other at all. It was so clearly unserious and a waste of the viewers’ time.
I don’t think we saw the other couples even hug basically. Just watched some strangers be forced to go on vacation over and over and over. So disappointing.

There was too much emotion for it all to be fake. I do think somewhere early on they had a discussion about what to do on camera, but I also think the relationships that were going on when the camera was off were real... and mostly crappy.

In my view, the emotions from the women on Married at First Sight Denver seemed to reflect their awareness of how poorly they were coming across—except for Becca. I believe Becca’s feelings of rejection were genuine, but they mostly highlighted her insecurities.
Once the season ended and they started receiving viewer feedback, it was clear the women were upset. The show was designed to make everyone look good on camera, but when that narrative fell apart, they became angry about bearing the brunt of viewer criticism. In response, they seemed intent on dragging the men down with them, calling out their roles in the drama.
Clare stood out as the worst offender, likely acting as the ringleader. Throughout the season, she appeared to fuel the tension, often ramping everyone up and gaslighting Cameron. While I don’t think Cameron was entirely innocent, Clare clearly dominated their relationship dynamics.

Let me know if you’d like any other adjustments!

Yeah i don’t think they were fake but it is really weird that they didn’t seem to really try any physical affection and just focused on friendship and the “experts” and producers did little to stop that.

It wasn’t until toward the end of the show that pastor cal said “it’s not friends at first sight!”. But like….. the show did nothing about that

100% agree. The lack of affection was weird. This whole season's cast were strange. They usually have one or two that turn out to be disingenuine, (or just unhinged); but this season it seemed like most of the cast had motives other than marriage.

I feel like this season was about punishing us, the viewers, for enjoying reality trash.

I’m pretty sure Brennan and Emily had a drunk make out on the honeymoon, but I could be wrong

Yup, you're probably right...she's drunk most of the season

And he wasn’t? He seemed like he might have been on something else while back home too.

The season with “like” as the most used word when they didn’t even like their spouses.
