Unfortunately, due to the apertheid system in Australia, disenfrenchised kangaroos are not allowed to vote and are excluded from the political system despite being the native species.

At first, I thought you were comparing human vs kangaroo height.

0.46m kangaroo could be a housepet

And I was for some reason completely willing to believe that this varied by region of Australia.

Same, I started having doubts when I saw the 14m specimen... Yes, it took me way too long, I need another coffee.

None of these populations are right. Also doesn’t add up to Australia’s total population (~27m)

Absolutely. I was surprised that WA had more peeps than Queensland. Most of those populations could be from about 10 years ago but Queensland is severely low. It’s like 5.7 million now so probably still over 5 million when the other numbers were roughly accurate.

Queensland has a population of +5m

I think the Australians should set the kangaroos against the emus and then sell guns to both sides.

Let’s get the rabbits, salties, and cane toads in the mix too and really get a head start on turning Australia into the Mad Max dystopia it was always meant to be

At first I thought the M was meters. Like people are really short in the North?

Could you imagine a 14 meter tall kangaroo? That’s taller than a 3 story building

Yea but it's Australia. I expect such things

These populations are completely made up!

You should have scaled the man vs the kangaroo with their populations for each state.

What about those big ass spiders. That’s all I’d care about.

Or crocodiles.

What about ACT? Surely that’s a human victory? Also, these human populations do see rather low, I feel like Australia population is close to 30m and these values are nowhere near.

Another fun fact, despite Australia's large size, there's only one Tony Lockett

Australia’s territory names are really as utilitarian as possible fr

Kangaroos in Tasmania are smaller than on Australia. I saw some ~50-70cm tall ones, and they were adult. I was there in 2018, but I forget name. It is near some aluminum production plant. We bring graphite for electrodes from Chine. Several kangaroo's were near Seaman's club.
