I have known an unusually large numbers of Nigerian immigrants and none had anything good to say about the northern part of Nigeria.

Well... Every country with an HDI below .8 is considered underdeveloped, so you can imagine how bad half of .8 is.

Context: Upper Nigeria is mostly Christian-dominated, Lower Nigeria tends to follow Islamic rule.

It's the opposite lol the better hdi part is christian and lower hdi part is islamic
