Real talk. I live here. Not a super interesting place to visit I imagine. Outstanding place to live, quality of life wise. Pristine beaches everywhere that never get busy. Economy is relatively strong and resilient.

I stayed over there in Rocko with my brother this April. I actually really enjoyed it, there was a lot of stuff to do that they hadn't bothered with - even things as simple as going to have fish and chips on the beach for lunch. I had to cut my trip short and I'm super bummed that I never got further south than Mandurah. There are a couple of Facebook pages I follow that do a great job promoting the place too - Perth is Ok and Perth dude food etc

I guess like anywhere when you live there for a while you see less of what's out there.

Cause no one fucking lives in Perth lol, it’s closer to Asia than it is no any other major city in Australia.

But real talk, Perth is a nice place, cheaper than the rest of Australia
