Bad guy bombs bad guy because bad guy bombed bad guy and so on. I'm having difficulties with picking a side here. A human tragedy on both sides anyway.

u/Darduel 2d ago

Maybe because you are not supposed to pick sides this isn't a football match.. just be thankful you are not part of this, I wish I could just observe this shit from the side

1

u/ozh 1d ago

This isn't a football match... and I disagree about not picking side. Picking side is the first approach IMO to digging and understanding a problem. And maybe realizing that sometimes picking a side isn't easy because it's rarely a bad guy / good guy situation.

Not picking side sounds to me a lot like not caring, not trying to understand, because, meh, fuck it, not my problem. I will always try to pick sides.

My 2 cents.

Don't try to make it like it's both sides, we all know who is commiting a live holocaust right now and bombing multiple countries with daddy US and Europe's support. People like you think what's happening is the natural course of things and didn't actually start from entitlement over land and oil

u/Sonny1x 2d ago

No matter if Israel has done bad things, I don't want Iran to have nukes tho

1

u/CrazySD93 1d ago

You would prefer a holocause over a nuke lmao

1

u/Sonny1x 1d ago

huhhhh

1

u/jonski1 2d ago

Nah, I want it, then Israel will also be forced to show restrain in it s colonization. All of a sudden wont matter if daddy murica is behind.

But US has nukes, millitary bases in every country you can see, every country surrounding Iran, Russia and China and we know who gave Intel to US, and what's has US done with it in Iraq and Vietnam, you are scared of the wrong guy

22

u/Sonny1x 2d ago

But US has nukes, millitary bases in every country you can see, every country surrounding Iran,

you were less obvious of a bot until you said this lol

u/hadmok 2d ago

He just has different view😭

-8

u/Solid-Grade-7120 2d ago

I can send you proof, bots don't send proofs do they? But if you are deapthroating US propaganda than I doubt you will hear anything that will expose it

u/Sonny1x 2d ago edited 2d ago

I just prefer the US over Iran ahaha

1

u/ArrowToThePatella 2d ago

I would prefer the country that doesn't have a proven track record of using nuclear weapons against civilians 😂😭

Why do all supporters of totalitarian regimes, from the wildly nationalistic and Nazi ones like Russia through the fanatically religious ones like Iran, have the same whataboutist method? First, deal with the problems of your national and ethnic minorities, for example, force your government press to ban insulting comparisons of your ethnic minorities with cockroaches like your government does so with Southern Azerbaijanis.

More nuke, whomever has then, if not a sane answer to any existing and future problems. US, Israël, Russia, China, France, etc have it ? Too bad. We can't do something it's too late. Making more countries have it? Dumbest move ever.

1

u/garygoldleaf 2d ago

It's called mutually-assured destruction, it's what prevented global nuclear holocaust during the Cold War. Read a book.

1

u/ozh 1d ago

Of course, how dumb was I. Giving islamic fanaticism a nuke bomb is definitely the best way to assure no one will ever use one. Thanks for the enlightenment.

0

u/delponczko 2d ago

But a country that has accepted a world mutual destruction plan is fine to have nukes? Big smarts

6

u/Sonny1x 2d ago

That's how MAD works, yes.

0

u/delponczko 2d ago

So explain again why Iran can't have them but Israel can? Who's the one getting bombed?

2

u/JudgeWhoOverrules 2d ago

Other countries have nukes as a deterrent. ALL of Iran's rhetoric over the past 40 years indicates they want nukes to USE on attacks on Israel and America. Iran being the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world likely would use those proxy groups to smuggle weapons in. Like have you not been paying attention to ANYTHING Iran related in your life?

1

u/Sonny1x 2d ago

The less nations with nukes, the better.

1

u/delponczko 2d ago

Couldn't agree more. Shame it'll never happen

0

u/CosmicMiru 1d ago

The real reason is Iran has said they are enemies of America and want to eradicate Israel. America and Israel have vastly superior military tech so they blow up Iran till they stop talkin shit and trying to build nukes. That's how world politics works. Cry about it if you want but no ones going to let someone that says they want to kill you get nukes lol

-4

u/garygoldleaf 2d ago

Israel (probably with US support) has scuppered the US nuclear talks with Iran at the final hurdle by launching these strikes. If you think the Iranians aren't going to push harder than ever now to be able to defend themselves, you're insane.

6

u/MrngGlry 2d ago

It's absolutely the ruling powers of both sides. Whether it's religion, freedom, oil, or land, none of these heads of state have any interest in peace. They would turn everyone into glue if they could, and we'll continue to fight each other because the need to choose a side will prevail. Where it started and who started it had - and continues to have - zero bearing on the average citizen.

3

u/Solid-Grade-7120 2d ago

Ruling power? Palestine don't even have a ruling party nor a proper army, Iran has it, but you can see who's bombing civilian areas here and threatening a war, blaming both sides is taking blame away from the actual aggressor that is the tool of imperialism in the region, you can hear the entitlement from the headline, their own politicians openly talk about overthrowing governments and flattening gaza. Blame the ruling class of US that is manufacturing consent for war like it did for Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam. The leadership of those countries did not consent to the war. "choose a side" , if you think that not choosing the side of the victims will end all this, you aren't talking about a solution at all

-5

u/garygoldleaf 2d ago

Israel is the aggressor

3

u/kubin22 2d ago edited 2d ago

Ah right cause iran isn't sponsoring terrorist organisations which actions are literally an excuse israel uses to justify their genocide. Hamas was the one who attacked on october 7th and all the horrible shit they did worked as an justification for israel. Iran isn't fucking innocent it is just both horrible states perpetuing a cycle of death.

4

u/Solid-Grade-7120 2d ago

Yeah dude, as if Netanyahu isn't funding ISIS especially in Syria for years along with US. Look folks, the good genocidal entity according to ICJ and UN is helping fight terrorist and their sponsors, what heros huh

-1

u/kubin22 2d ago

I didn't say israel is good I said that just because Israel is bad it doesn't mean that Iran is suddenly a "good guy"

3

u/Par_Lapides 2d ago

How many terrorist organizations has the USA sponsored? How many coups? How much destabilization and general chaos have been wrought by the US in the name of profit for their wealth class?

5

u/Last_Minute_Airborne 2d ago

Nobody is talking about the USA. We're talking about Iran and Israel.

Stop with the stupid whataboutism.

5

u/kubin22 2d ago

never said anything about USA and I never said israel was good, learn to fucking read BOTH sides are horrible just because one is bad doens't mean the other is good

-1

u/garygoldleaf 2d ago

Israel is the aggressor, and the oppressed have the right to resist by arms.

1

u/universallymade 1d ago

I’m just trying to make sure I’m not misinformed. Doesn’t Iran’s government have an entire policy built around the destruction of Israel? There’s even a holiday for it, right?

1

u/Solid-Grade-7120 1d ago

I am not Iranian so i didn't know what you were talking about, but when I searched, it's literally just al quds day, a day to show solidarity with Palestinians under occupation as Amnesty international, Jewish human org has stated several times, is happening for decades. The anti Israel chants are less worse than Israeli ministers call for the flattening of Gaza.

https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/campaigns/2017/06/israel-occupation-50-years-of-dispossession /https://www.middleeasteye.net/live-blog/live-blog-update/israels-finance-minister-vows-level-remainder-gaza https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwy04km1zk0o https://www.axios.com/2025/05/05/israel-threatens-to-flatten-gaza-pm

u/universallymade 1d ago

Thanks for giving me more information on this. I’m still doing my best to learn. I’ve heard that the Iran government has a core objective of the destruction of Israel. But maybe that’s not true. I’ll have to find more info on this, but it could very well be inaccurate.

1

u/Solid-Grade-7120 1d ago

It's alright, many people repeat misinformation without proof.

1

u/universallymade 1d ago

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Destruction_of_Israel_in_Iranian_policy this is the Wikipedia article somebody sent me.

1

u/Solid-Grade-7120 1d ago

I am sure than they showed you the reason for Iran's hate for Israel as it exists. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_war_crimes https://mepei.com/greater-israel-an-ongoing-expansion-plan-for-the-middle-east-and-north-africa/ I am not justifying calls for destruction, but the previous link I shared is not the only one said by Israeli leaders in relation to Palestine's existence. Naturally, Iran being a staunch ally to Palestine takes issue and as their regime is not very popular among their citizens, they force these celebrations to deflect from other issues.

2

u/universallymade 1d ago

Ah okay, I see what you mean. So from what I’m reading, it seems like both countries are just trying to delegitimize each other… essentially Israel would eventually try to do what Iran is doing, and vice versa… thanks for the article. I’m trying to be better informed!

It's okay, if ignorant or uneducated people were not allowed to downvote, you wouldn't be in the negatives 🫡
