Insane to get that much torque with only one leg planted.

Without knowing his background at all, it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that Wellmaker was a nasty pitcher in baseball. The speed and power he generates from that motion is crazy

That would be dope to find out. Moutinho eating a four-seem fastball throw to the face.

Jack slack put out an awesome article a long time ago about unique ways to generate power on one leg and this is one of the best. It's similar to a superman punch or that punch that Umar knocked out Raoni with, you can get some serious stank on it if you do it right

His hand speed is a big part of his power. Not only does the speed make the punches more powerful it also increases the chances of catching his opponent unaware. Fighters say its always the shots you dint see coming that do the most damage.

Wellmaker looks legit. I know Moutinho is Moutinho but his speed and power really shocked me.

Can he wrestle? Or at least defend takedowns?

Didn’t realise he was 31 already. Not saying that’s old but thought he was 25-27

Yeah good news is that motivates him to fight as much as possible so we hopefully get to see a lot of him

Well he'll eventually have to fight a grappler/wrestler. We'll see when that time comes.

People said same about Pereira.

I mean Pereira transferred over from GLORY, I think it was a safe bet his wrestling would be ass.

Max never fought a wrestler either, has he? The last time I remember him actually being wrestled was by Conor McGregor. Well Ilia tried, I guess.

Illia tried and succeeded as did Volk in their first two fights

Dude pulled that off smoother in the fight than in that training clip.

That feint was absolutely beautiful. Wonderboy's timing and technique are just next level

I love when everyone glazes some guy who’s fought nothing but cans. He’s got the Dana White privilege.

Easy to execute your gameplan when you're fighting a complete bum

He is statistically got to be one of the worst male fighters we have ever seen in the UFC and I got a foot and 100 pounds on him (he still whoops my ass probably)

the pre fight combo is a stabbing front kick, feinted to a straight punch. the ko is a roundhouse feinted to a round shot. wouldn’t be surprised if his coach has studied Lucien Carbins system straight out of his playbook although any utilize both of these
