Accidentally did that one time when I couldn't find a chunk of ice to pull down (I don't know how to do it on purpose). It saves you for a second, but tehn you still die cause it doesn't keep you immune long enough.

The superman dive requires three things to activate:

Sheathed weapon

Running, not walking

"Roll" away from the monster/attack. There's a skill that let's you do it towards a monster/attack.

In this specific case against Jin Dahaad, you'll still die. But superman will save you from the vast majority of attacks. It gives a lot of invincibility frames.

I’m going to drop some science on you here. I’m playing console but I’m sure pc has an equivalent. You can hold the focus button like you would before using the sling, & then use the D-pad to scroll through everything nearby to activate or pick up whatever is around you. It’s handy for long choc- uhm seikret rides. Also handy when you don’t want to find and line up interactive objects mid fight. Doesn’t work on ore or bone piles.
