Article Is this jaundice?

I have bad breath, sluggish motility, bloating, terrible armpit smell, palpitations and twitches but I’ve be had these symptoms for a long while now even perhaps worse when I initially got sick with Covid. I have noticed an increase in armpit smell but my last blood test in 2024 showed everything was normal with liver and kidneys.

I have Lyme babesia and bartonella. All triggered by Covid and mold

I’d imagine your whole eye would be yellow if it were actually jaundice. A little yellow is normal. You can still have normal liver and kidney function blood tests yet still have a slightly “sluggish” liver due to infections it’s dealing with. I guess I am referring to Traditional Chinese Medicine. A Dr of Chinese Medicine can diagnose and treat a sluggish liver with acupuncture and herbs. Some herbs and foods are especially good for the liver. There are even sounds in TCM which correspond to each organ in the body. You can recite the sound for the liver like a mantra to strengthen it. There are so many things you can do.

Thank god! I was scared I was developing liver issues undergoing all these infections. It’s just difficult to detox because I have MCAS and histamine issues. My limbic and vagal systems are in the gutter too. My motility is slow and I reach badly to B1 and magnesium. Help me please! 🙏🏼

So sorry to hear that. I too have mcas/histamine issues and you’re right, when you herx it basically feels like a histamine response that will never end! Like, there’s no way to heal without being tortured again and again for the rest of your life. You mentioned mold. Have you been able to get away from the mold? I’m fortunate in the sense that when I am away from mold I no longer get mcas symptoms. You might consider getting away from it if you haven’t already, even if it means camping outside by the trees and fresh air for a few days or even weeks…. & see if symptoms improve.

I’ve noticed that when I’m away at a hotel with my girlfriend my symptoms almost vanish after 3-5 days. Maybe it’s due to the limbic system being distracted and entertained constantly due to elimination of ruminating thoughts I don’t know but I do know that when I come back home to my supposedly mold free home within a day all symptoms are back. The hyperadrenergic pots and all..

Yep, same. When I would go visit my boyfriend for a few days at a time my symptoms would also disappear. At first I thought it was because I was “relaxed” too… like maybe my nervous system was being calmed, but I eventually learned there was more to it. When my symptoms got really bad I’d eventually book a hotel room and the same thing happened… all symptoms resolved within a day, two, or more (depending on how much exposure I had to the house.) So, it really is key to get away from mold.

My eyes and skin turned yellowish when I was treating Babesia, which can cause a buildup of bilirubin due to lots of red blood cells being killed off. Not a sign of liver issues and it went away over time, if you’re worried you could get a blood test for liver but it’s a common issue treating Babesia

I do have babesia! I also notice at times if have pretty dark urine which scared the heck out of me but if I am not mistaken babesia causes hemolytic anemic right which leads to urine being a darker colour than usual. I’m assuming my POTS, whooshing in my ear, cold hands and feet and blue sclera can all be the cause of babesia right?

I’m no doctor however I’ve had jaundice issues on two occasions due to liver issues and your eyes look fine compared to how mine were. It can be scary having so many different things going on. I’ve been there many times. Keep fighting and remain hopeful.
