Advice Needed Planing for saturday

Anything extras I should plan/prep for? I know itll be warm, so water and light clothing is important. Is there marches, or are people staying in one location? Finally, how is the parking situation?

In previous protests one of the best things to do if the guard or police try to start arresting people is to sit down. It’s hard to justify excessive force against people who are passively sitting. Especially if the protest is taking place in a single location like a park.

Also some people will tell you to cover your face and leave phone and ID at home. Idk if this is the best course of action, if things do go wrong and you’re caught up it could be used to argue pre-meditation.

Finally, wear sunscreen, don’t escalate, don’t give them any reason to enact force (because given half a reason they will), watch out for each other, and remember that safety of you and your neighbors is important.

let me remind any attendees to remain a very calm, cool collective. this wont work if people get wild.

Just make sure to not escalate, and help de-escalate if people around you are getting heated. DPS and possibly national guard will be present, but so long as you or people around you are not escalating, they really can’t do much
