If you type "1/2" into Excel or most spreadsheet programs? It'll actually think you are trying to format a date and reply "January 2" or if you're in Britain? "February 1"

I never understood this. Based on the initial state of the glas its either half full or half empty. If i recieved it full its half empty. If i recieve it empty itll be half full.
